Late in the night they say 'Dead Mary' in a mirror three times and, well, people start dying. This is one of those horror movies that's too good to be awful but not good enough to be average. Nothing stands out about it.
Tommy M (de) wrote: When I was at blockbuster and I saw this movie on the shelves and saw the all star cast including Michael Cera, Jamie Kennedy, Ryan Pinkston, Matthew Lillard, Andy Milonakis, and Frankie Muniz , I said to myself " Awesome, can't go wrong with this one." Little did I know that I would be sourly mistaken. This movie shouldn't really be called a movie. The reason why, is because it's just a bunch of random short scenes that were written with a baseline of sex, and put into a movie. They don't even relate to each other at all. The next part about the movie that I didn't like is the fact that it had no plot at all, and very very little funny parts. The only things that I laughed at is Michael Cera's scene. Because lets face it he's hilarious, Matthew Lillard's scenes, and the part with Jamie Kennedy and Danneel Harris (Rachel in One Tree Hill). Other then that I sat on my couch wondering why I was watching this movie with a look of disgust on my face and kept saying to myself how it should be called Extremely Gay Movie instead of Extreme Movie. I mean some dude goes back in time to have anal sex with Abraham Lincoln (which I guess is somewhat funny, but yet it's pretty disturbing) .Some things that I noticed after I rented it is that it was produced by Dimension Extreme and normally their movies suck. On the bright side it has the happy ending that everyone wants. The guy gets the girl.

"Images", like "3 Women", shows Altman's style leaning heavily toward Bergman and for this reason seems lost and forgotten in his filmography. Nevertheless, John Williams, aping "Persona"; Altman, creating a movie one cannot look away from with the help of Zsigmond. There's more to say but more movies to see, so . . .

Johnathon W (es) wrote: Classic action film that set a new standard for the buddy cop genre, thanks to a superb cast & filmmakers willing to go a little dark with the content. Gibson & Glover are excellent as Riggs & Murtaugh, playing off each other perfectly & giving career best performances. Gibson channels his crazed intensity to perfection while Glover is a fantastic straight man, giving brilliant reactions to every one of Riggs nuttier moments (his "I'm too old for this shit" line remains a classic). They get great support from the rest of the cast, particularly Gary Busy as the villainous Mr. Joshua. Behind the camera, Richard Donner adapts Shane Black's script perfectly and one forgets, after the numerous sequels & current TV show, how dark & edgy the original is. Riggs is a truly disturbed, suicidal man and you truly don't know what will happen next with him, making his tension with Murtaugh palpable. The action is edge of your seat and Black's dialogue is as good as you can get in action movie. All that plus being set during Christmas, it makes for one of the best action movies ever made and another great addition to the holiday movie rotation.

I didn't hate it, but at that point the movie was a lost cause. and all the twist did was prove that he was right, it did not change anything else, or explain anything. it was just, "oh btw, he's not crazy" (1 viewing)
