Katie (Lucy Hale) and Sara (Phoebe Strole) have been friends since childhood. They enter college together, where Katie is a prized legacy candidate for the Delta sorority, which was co-founded decades ago by her mother, Lutie (Courtney Thorne-Smith) and Summer (Faith Ford), whose own daughter Gwen (Amanda Schull) now leads the Deltas on campus. Events occur during pledge week to cause a rift between Katie and the Deltas, which leaves Sara as a Delta pledge and Katie out in the cold. Katie joins the rival Kappa sorority, and the rivalry splits not just Katie and Sara, but extends all the way into the Delta alumnae association led by Lutie and Summer.

I was sorely dissapointed and felt cheated on my time spent on this ridiculous movie. They should have called it Bloody Chocolate or Chocolate Blood, at least change the characters names too. I would have enjoyed it slightly then.

It's not really a Thunderbirds movie (which is a shame, the cartoon reboot shows that one would work) as most of the Tracy clan are relegated to be stranded in space for most of the duration. The movie itself focuses on Alan and as a result has more of a 'Spy Kids' or Mid '80s kids flick feel. It's all good fun though and no-one is taking anything too seriously. My 4 year old Thunderbirds obsessed son loved it and basically wanted to watch it again immediately afterwards so it's clearly pleasing it's target audience.

(nl) wrote: I watched the two together (although i did intentionally wait one day), so it's not totally fair to pick this one over the Sunrise. Obviously this one has the benefit to build on the last film and thus a little more emotional, but i found the urgency in this one is what makes it better . Throughout the movie i worry that its gonna end soon, where in before sunrise it does drag a little from time to time. The scene in a car is perhaps just a bit too rushy, but fortunately it settles down for a nice finish. It was great to see one great quality maintained from the first film: although obviously Paris is like a character in itself , it doesn't take away from the focus: the lead couple and their exchanges. It properly portraits the feeling of couple being in their own little bubble/world, suspended from reality in each other's company. And also, i think the ending is definite, and it's satisfying enough for me. This is my favourite romantic movie of all time. In some way i wish i waited 9 years for this surprise, considering how much i enjoyed the sequel after just one day of wait.

(mx) wrote: A somewhat startling thriller with decent performances, but ultimately the silly story takes a lot away from the scares and makes you shake your head. Has promise but fades as the movies nears it's conclusion.
(ca) wrote: Kinda flipped me out cause unlike most Troma movies the budget, cast etc were nice. This movie just sucked donkey balls. Not really interesting at all besides the one creepy sons outfit that kinda ruled.
