Jonathan P (it) wrote: I have never been a fan of animated movies let alone Anime so I will preface this by saying yes I don't get it. I have never understood the intrigue that Japan Animation has on its viewers so my review will reflect the fact that I am not a fan of this genre. Naruto has everything you would expect from an Anime movie, over-the-top facial expressions, bright flashes of color during fight scenes, odd powers that the characters are able to summon, and a cheesy soundtrack. Naruto the Movie follows the title character on his quest to protect Princess Koyuji on her journey back to the Land of Snow. Children won't particularly enjoy it as it is in Japanese with English subtitles (so if they aren't good at reading tough cookies) and unless the viewer is a fan of this sort of movie than Naruto will not offer anything of worth.

Corpse M (kr) wrote: this sequel just basically refcycles all the old jokes and characters from the origonal and basically all the plot moments as well..... the movie however is missing one thing and that is Pops. he was the funniest character in the origonal and unfortunatly he didnt live to star in the sequel and the movie suffers. what the movie does accomplish however is the black culture of that area in the 80s. this makes the movie entertaining however its disguesed as a comedy but doesnt get very many intentional laughs

Brandon S (au) wrote: A Mexican big shot, probably a mafia don or someone like that, is upset because his young daughter is pregnant. He puts a one million dollar bounty on the father's head, literally on the head. He wants the head of Alfredo Garcia as proof the man is dead. And so a bunch of lowlifes go in search of the dead beat dad. The movie follows a scummy bartender and his prostitute girlfriend as they go in search of the head. The movie is slow in parts. The action starts about 70 minutes in. Its a pretty violent movie. For 1974 it might have been good, but by today's standards it didnt seem like anything special to me. There is grave robbing, shoot outs, female nudity, and a scene where a guy picks pubic lice off his crotch and crushes them between his thumbnails. There is an loud crunching sound every time he crushes one.SPOILER ALERTIt turns out this Alfredo guy died in a car accident around the time the bounty was put on his head. Bartender Bennie leads some thugs to believe Alfredo is alive an he will kill him for $10,000. He kind of loses it after his girlfriend is killed. The end is a little surprising.
James H (br) wrote: Bronson is not an easy film to watch. The average film goer will not be able to stomach this. Tom Hardy meets the psychotic levels needed to play Charles Bronson, he does not hold back. Nicholas Winding Refn does not either, there are some incredibly gruesome scenes. The score is brilliant but it doesn't look as good as most of Refn's other films. There was also no word on his wife and son after he was sent to prison.

Andrew C (it) wrote: For being as old of a movie that it is, it really wasn't that bad. I mean aside from the illogical choice of weapons they tried to kill the monster with...let alone had on the ship for the mission they were on, the movie was good.Other things that were funny or just struck me as odd were the year it was supposed to happen in. As well as how the scifi people back in the 50's sexist ideals were so in-grained that the only two women on the ship not only served and cleaned up the meals while the men sat around at the table drinking coffee and reading newspapers, but the jobs of the women were...well actually I think I only recall one of their jobs as a medical personnel and the other...well I don't think they said. Oh how society and writers have evolved.
