Josipa (it) wrote: Not the best dance movie I've seen, but it was ok..

Christian B (ca) wrote: Boring, not scary, and laughable at times. Credit where credit is due though, on the use of silence in this movie. It was the one effective move pulled of in the entire film.

Alberto A (jp) wrote: We do, indeed, live in a wonderful world. A world that allows situations like the ones are showed in Osama, I do not doubt for a second this has already happened. "Osama", set in Taliban-ruled Afghanistan, tells the story of an afghan girl whose father dies and her mother is not able to provide her with food because she's not allowed to work. Consequently, she disguises as a boy, but she could not hide forever. It is just so beautiful to imagine there are countries and laws like these ones in the world where women are not even considered human, but a commercial male object. People try to justify this, but there's no reasonable justification for the ungodly view some people and religionS have on women. Yes I dare.

Kristen K (mx) wrote: I wanted to give this a higher review. I really did! This is my favorite band for years. I enjoyed this movie. But it is not perfect. I think my most fair assessment would have to be excellent film school sci-fi thesis film. If you saw this at the end of your four years at film school, you would be really excited to see what they come up with next. So Wayne, I am totally there for the next one. (Hopefully it comes out in a bit shorter time period.)

Mark S (au) wrote: interesting movie... that as a rarity for films about an actual topic... stays true to that topic that carries the plot. ..in this case chess. uses actual chess to move the story along.

Frdric H (ru) wrote: A classic comedy with tons of jokes not like the crappy new ones coming out.

Begoa N (ag) wrote: Artes marciales del estilo ms tradicional. Lleno de tpicos exageraciones y dems. Divertida. Y aqu adems aparece Takeshi Kaneshiro! ;D

Kyle E (fr) wrote: Day-o. You say day, you say day, you say dayyy-oooo. This movie is very comical. Winona Ryder's Lydia Deetz, is so odd and interesting which equally balances out between Baldwin & Davis's Adam and Barbara, a couple who are normal and have never been able to have a baby. Michael Keaton kills it as Beetlejuice and is extremely psychotic and that makes us love him even more.

Richard B (mx) wrote: Hilariously shambolic film. Worth a look for the incredible number of miscast actors. Mike Raven for a start.

Scott R (ru) wrote: A little too ambitious, but enjoyable nonetheless. Bruce Lee's cameo was also pretty good.

Chris S (fr) wrote: None of you all can appreciate a great B-movie when you see one. This is definitely my most favorite among the Val Lewton-produced films with a stronger heroine, a more pleasant ending and less pretensions. It's a little bit outdated because mental hospitals' conditions aren't as worse as this anymore but I don't care because this is melodrama at its finest and Boris Karloff at his meanest and vilest. Look out for the most satisfying and most unapologetic ending ever where the mental patients have their revenge.

Brian S (ru) wrote: definitely interesting, but not that outstanding. I'm glad Fred & Ginger's lone dance number caught enough attention to warrant future pairings--they almost get lost amidst the boring leads, the minimal dry humour, and the transitional editing that felt like a 1930s PowerPoint presentation. a few hints of clever effects work, and the film was entertaining enough, but it's absolutely no comparison to peak-form F&G.

Paul D (us) wrote: Enjoyable modern-western of sorts despite the fact there's no big laughs in this comedy.

bill s (mx) wrote: The great performances pile one atop another with Thornton leading the way in a simple but well made story.
