Manny C (de) wrote: I'm not opposed to to seeing Pierce Brosnan and Julianne Moore aim for the spirit of Kate Hepburn and Spencer Tracy by playing two rival divorce lawyers who fall in love like the aforementioned icons did in Adam's Rib. I just wish the script were the least bit exciting or interesting. It's also a nice touch having Sliding Doors director Peter Howitt at the helm, but like I said--the script blows, and it drowns grade-A talent in a heaping pile of banality.

Melissa M (fr) wrote: i have seen this movie a while ago and i think and it is pretty good..but some of the actors should have gotten bigger parts such as kimberly..she has a lot of talent

Corey L (mx) wrote: Personally, I think the aria interpretations were horrible. So many of the events were outrageous and unrealistic (still in consideration of the "artistic" aspect); the only reasonable pieces were the first and second to last.I laughed so hard because I couldn't take any of it seriously... so much that I cried pretty hard, and that takes some effort. :/

Jenna I (nl) wrote: This is definitely one of the weirdest films I've ever seen in tone, humor, lighting, direction, musical cues and overall point. From the bizarre unexplained characters who drift in and out of the house that are always inexplicably weeping, to the constant flashbacks to the oil tanker explosion (which I got the sense they just wanted to milk for all it was worth because I'm sure it was expensive to shoot), to the questionable father/daughter half naked bed hangouts, to the repetitious 80s smooth jazz music that started and stopped whenever there was a young female behind to show bopping to it in close up.... This movie it's nuts.To be honest, it just felt like a hate letter from Serge to himself. He's shows himself as unattractive, if not downright disgusting; from vomit to snot to peeing, he only stops short of showing himself taking a shit, but even then they talk about it enough you wouldn't notice. What really mystifies me is how he managed to get so many people to make this film with him... though I'm sure the mood on set was that of amused bewilderment-- "can you believe what they're giving us money to make?"

Jairo A (fr) wrote: Crocodile Dundee is basically a movie about a jungle man coming to the big city, that's it! It does provide some good laughs and the acting was good enough. Yes, there are better comedies out there but it's a fun watch if you're into 80s movies. 3/5 or 6/10

Brendan N (jp) wrote: A film full of such talent shouldn't this misguided or boring. The plot is quite all over the place and you can't really bond with any characters because we have no depth to help us. Norton is really good in the lead but when the film is this dull why would you even try. A film trying to be so deep and interesting needed much more focus on the screenwriting and story. The real issue is the film wastes to much time on support characters instead of trying to create depth for the central characters. The film is way to dark and uninteresting and fails quite badly. The director is out of depth on this poorly made dramaEd norton is a great character actor and even he can't create anything of interest. Farrell is to bland and boring which is shame as both him and norton deserves better. The film could of been interesting had it not been so drawn out and uneventful. This is one film that had potential written all over it but sadly it dies a quick death
