Dan A (us) wrote: One of the few Halloween horror classics! We watch this every year. It's amazing to me that the studio shelved it and made it straight to video. It's great!

Johnson C (mx) wrote: Well, another psychological movie, with a riddle format.

Amit S (br) wrote: A REAL STORY . ALL TIME I FEEL THAT EACH AND EVERYTHING IS HAPPENING WITH ME. SOOOOOOOOOO NICE MOVIE.A tale of a of a family where the parents sacrifice everything to nurture their four children, only to be left uncared for when they grow old.

Steve B (fr) wrote: A well acted thought provoking psychological thriller; quite possibly the second best film of the year so far, rivaled only by Inception.

Emily R (br) wrote: Good movie with interesting roles with Robert DeNiro as a shy, wishing he was strong guy, while Bill Murray was the tough Mafia bad guy and Uma Thurman did a splendid job as Glory.

Heist (it) wrote: The Constant Gardener was alright. Le Cercle Rouge was uneven. 5 Dolls for an August Moon needed less plot and more boobies. Feed was several different kinds of awful. And here's something that could almost pass for a review for Hatchet:
Hatchet was a satisfying movie, even if it was somewhat uneven and sometimes awkwardly zealous in its effort to be funny. I think I saw the NC-17 version, which was pretty damn gory. If it turns out that I saw the R version, this will be the goriest R in a long time.
I did say almost.

Sgt C (es) wrote: (43%)A meatier role for Lee to get his fangs into and he does a fine job playing a real life notorious figure instead of a fictitious one, only this time the makers have actually given him something to say, and the film is all the better for it. More than a few liberties have been taken on the actual story to fit it into a 90 min run time, as well as to make it more entertaining, but it is not factual enough to be taken seriously as historical account and its not really fun enough to be enjoyed as a B movie romp, it is somewhere in-between. Hammer fans will enjoy it, but everyone else may get a little fed up with its lack of thrills and rather abrupt ending.
