Raul V (ru) wrote: Long gone are the days where "kids will be kids". The pharmaceutical companies have colluded with your family doctors & child shrinks over the years and the result is an agenda of quick (& perhaps false) diagnosis's coupled with endless prescriptions of drugs that might actually make your child worse off. ADHD, OCD, severe depression, & even bi-polar disorders are regularly being diagnosed in children nowadays...even as early as 4 years of age! Well over 1 million kids in this country (& growing) are on some form of behavior modification drugs. Teachers, family doctors, & even child psychiatrists are becoming quick to feed your kids some drugs because they "can't pay attention" or "can't sit still" or perhaps they "act out too much". What are the impacts of these drugs on young developing brains? Where are the FDA regulations on drugs prescribed to children? How can 4 & 5 year-olds be diagnosed with bi-polar disorders? Some crazy shit people!!! I highly recommend all with young kids, all teachers, & all else who are interested...WATCH THIS DOC! Red Box might not have it, but Netflix Instant does.

Jonathan I (de) wrote: How about that? Madonna is not bad in this one. Perhaps, because she shares similarities with the character and it is basically a feature-length music video... Her vocal training for this role served her well. I agree with her Golden Globe and her lack of an Oscar nom. Interesting that Antonio Banderas plays here also, since she reveals in her documentary "Truth or Dare"/"In Bed with Madonna" a few years previous that she had a huge crush on him and was excited to meet him, though disappointed when she discovered he was married. In other news, it's a well-made film adaptation of an often shallow musical, though begs some quirks in its effort to make it a vehicle solely to serve Madonna.

Dave R (mx) wrote: a familiar story: guys break out of jail and rob a bunch of banks, live life on the run, find women and then the law catches up with them. maybe i wasn't in the right mood for this one - i usually like altman films; i won't say i didn't like it but the story wasn't strong enough to really keep me interested... i found myself checking the time. visually, as a period piece, it's great. but in my opinion it's a little too long for the story it's trying to tell.

Abel D (gb) wrote: Boorish and cheesey, 'Iron Sky' is pulpy camp in all its forms. Strong production values for a low budget affair, coupled with fairly well handled action and a game cast, are somewhat let down by obvious satire and not every joke landing.
Gilly P (mx) wrote: The female roles are weak and you feel no real empathy with themDoug is hilarious and well acted, Rafi is just the most hansome guy I have seen on the big screen this year, but his singing skills don't match his looks.Over all it's disappointing and misses the humour and emotion of shows like Mamamia.
