Tim B (ca) wrote: Sweet, devastating, and thoroughly watchable. Dhanush and Shruti Hassan are outstanding in their performances, and lead this excellent film to its heartbreaking climax.

Luis G (au) wrote: One of the most uniquely scary films I've ever seen.

Arusa S (us) wrote: The plot is quite good although there's a few blind point in it, but the story flows well. All girls are beautiful, the 3D, the costume, the scene are all good. The funny part is really funny, drama part is also OK. It's a very nice experience if you watch it in full 3D system.

Jimmy P (es) wrote: Got this on DVD the other day looking forward to watching sometime in my week off of work next week. Reveiw coming soon

Vivek N (de) wrote: Should watch atleast once...

Private U (us) wrote: WOW What a complete piece of shit!!! Retards should not be allowed to make movies, especially high. I like indy/artistic/foreign movies, but this is pure crap.

Rhady N (kr) wrote: Love her or hate her, Martel's vision and approach to story structure are absolutely unique.

James E (mx) wrote: The write up is incorrect, this is NOT a comedy, although it has some funny moments. This is a serious movie about a spiritual journey (that even popes go through) on a quest to find out what is REALLY important in life. It is an excellent movie about faith, doubt and rediscovery of faith again. I highly recommend it.

Eric H (jp) wrote: Immediately suppressed by the Soviets in 1966, Andrei Tarkovsky's epic masterpiece is a sweeping medieval tale of Russia's greatest icon painter. Too experimental, too frightening, too violent, and too politically complicated to be released officially, Andrei Rublev has existed only in shortened, censored versions. This film after watching the full vision was truly enlighting. This ilm is pure beauty. It is one of the greatest cinematic achievements of all time. It is, as with all Tarkovsky movies, a statement about the director himself - about his own doubts, angst, and guilt, and his own redemption in art and in God. Soif you like any of these films, if you like philosophy, poetry or nature, I recommend you to watch this great film. A great film.Just remember that this is a fine Tarkovski film. It is as good a film as any of his for introducing new filmViewers.Sould approach it with the proper mindset, however. Their objective should be to experience the film and their reaction to it. Obviously, interest in Russia around the 13th century will probably not hurt appreciation. While the film is, in its totality, different from most films, the individual scenes are not weird- no strange camera work, no sudden introduction of esoteric symbols, just fairly honest attempts to record an individual person's impression of what viewers today might find to be unusual experiences.

Jason P (ag) wrote: A bit slow in parts, but some good dialogue and interesting plot devices. And Lancaster is dreamy as ever."When you're loyal to a man, you're loyal to everything about him. Even his faults."

Allan C (ag) wrote: Quite good little survival film about a plane crash in the Amazon. The cast of survivors includes Lucille Ball and John Carradine, which certainly helps. The film was also co-written by excellent Dalton Trumbo before he would be blacklisted 8 years later for refusing to testify before the House Un-American Activities Committee during the communist witch hunts. The film was likely a very original film at the time, but this story has been copied many times and done just as well or better, so the film hasn't aged well in that respect. Still, it's a well made and exciting film that clearly influenced many future disaster films.
