Starry Starry Night

Starry Starry Night

There was once a young girl named May who felt alienated from everyone around her. May is worried about her mother and father, whose marriage is on the rocks, and she yearns to return to the woods where her grandfather lives. One day, May befriends a boy as lonely as she is. When reality catches up, they run away to a beautiful world that belongs only to them. Both imaginatively escapist and heartbreakingly realistic, their journey speaks to kids and adults alike with the pain of solitude, the sorrow of loss, and the warmth of hope.

Starry Starry Night torrent reviews

Damir A (ag) wrote: A low budget Austrian version of "The Thing". Decent.

Poli L (fr) wrote: Action and some campy dialogue. Plot was so-so. The fight scenes were intense and it cracks me up that HK police can't shoot (full stop). Maybe there was some mistranslating in the subs but overall it was an OK movie. Jaycee always plays the virgin.

Tom B (ag) wrote: An amusing and interesting documentary about a big river swimmer.Martin Strell is an overweight, 53 year old Slovenian man who swims the world's biggest and most dangerous rivers to raise awareness of world water issues (and for self fame). His character makes the unique film.Martin is a funny, sociable man, he drinks a bottle of wine a day, swims 20 miles a day, dines on horse burgers and is a Slovenian star/ambassador. This film documents how he, and his manager son, complete a PR rich project (swimming the 4,000 mile dangerous Amazon river). Interesting, unique stuff if you are interested (in human challenges too) and documentaries.

Sumeet K (fr) wrote: This movie sucks so bad. I signed into flixter to say that this movie is bad...DO NOT WATCH..

David M (jp) wrote: A wonderful action crime thriller that ends up being a fascinating character study. What happens when you live a lie for ten years, but in your mind, you're a completly different person? Everthing you project, say, like, eat and enjoy is a lie. Are you that person you pretend to be or are you the person you believe yourself to be? Scorsese remade this as The Departed.

jesse k (it) wrote: Murder by Numbers was worse than this.

Gena D (au) wrote: the movie was lame but the music and videos were phenomenal!

AudreyKim H (de) wrote: Probably the most bizarre fairy tale I've ever seen so far.

Todd S (mx) wrote: A visually stunning precursor to "The Seventh Seal", this was originally released to U.S. audiences as "The Naked Night" in an attempt to appeal to the Travis Bickles of the world. Unfortunately, this dreary little film could not be any less erotic, and though there are some truly piercing scenes, by the end Bergman's pessimistic vision seems more solipsistic than insightful.
