Patrick W (de) wrote: Sandler and Barrymore were apparently trying to recreate some of the gold they struck together with The Wedding Singer, but this one falls pretty flat. At times it is down right sad and depressing more than it is funny for Barrymore's character. Script is pretty bad although there are a few cracks here and there that are okay.

Ville I (it) wrote: Odd drive-in "classic" trip film where three hippies end up in a swamp and see clowns, senators, Greek gods and other assorted weirdness and dance around naked. Even though it's only 70 minutes, all the scenes are super-over-extended and the accompanying soundtrack is just bizarre. Probably has a lot of hidden meaning, especially since the film had its own "astrological advisor" during production.

Nat G (ru) wrote: This is a strange one, and I don't really get it, although I do understand this a druggy film, and that's maybe why it's a tad weird. I think the plot is a little lame, and needs to be a little bit more focused, but for the most part this is a interesting film even if I don't understand it. The shots are great, and the edits are brilliant, I love both scene's with Mick Jagger singing, they are almost like music video's, and the scene where he turns into the main gangster is a great bit of editing. I also think the acting is very good, I don't really get the little girl, and what happens to her in the end, where is she? James Fox is very good, and he plays the role almost to perfection, Jagger is also good, but I don't know if his acting or if that's just him. I think this film needs to be watched a few times before it starts to make any sense, and it's more of an art film, and if your ok with that you'll enjoy it, but for the normal film fan, I'd give it a miss
