Shawn R (kr) wrote: Extremely well acted movie worth watching but nothing overly innovative or ground breaking thaught provoking, just extremely extremely well acted even the nonverbal acting is beyond perfection.

Andrew K (fr) wrote: Good opening and it definitely avoids the biggest problem of it's predecessor but a lot of the wit and stoicism of the main characters is gone and there's not much in the way of great new material to compensate. Two of the strongest attributes of the original, the writing and directing, are gone and supplanted by horrendous substitutes. Ethan Hawke and lawrence Fishburn do their part but neither of their characters are particularly interesting. The writing and action does pick up a little as the movie draws closer to it's end. Some of the side characters are cool but others seem arbitrary.
