Maineutral R (ag) wrote: Much like Superman IV, this film has good intentions but doesn't get to do them right. The characters are barely developed, so we can't be attached to them and what they feel, the story is pretty much uni-dimensional and the message it tries to tell is obscured by these facts. Sadly, this movie is based on a real case of cancer disease, and it doens't accomplish the message? That's unforgivable.

Romina R (fr) wrote: A firefighter told me to watch this, he says it's the most accurate representation of real fires (you can see nothing but smoke and you hear your own breathing all the time). Let's give it that, then. As a movie, I think it's very boring and tacky. I found the soundtrack specially unnerving. I thought they were joking each time a song came up, they were too cheesy.

Stephen E (it) wrote: Certainly not a great film, but very underrated. I thought it was very funny. Offbeat, but very funny.
Michael K (kr) wrote: Underrated cult movie. People might believe it as a minor good version of Fahrenheit. Yes, somehow it is. But there's another side of the coin. This is no rehash. This is the definite action version of older tales like it.
Greg R (ag) wrote: This movie has such a imaginative, creative spirit it's hard not to enjoy it. Spy Kids is a fun, enjoyable film for children of all ages, and their parents will probably enjoy it also.
Chris B (nl) wrote: I believe this is the greatest war movie ever made. War is like hell, you fight for your country and your brothers on the battlefield. Thia film pulls no punches when showing the truth about war. Steven Spielberg shows why many consider him to be the greatest director of all time with this film. At the end of this film you will most likely be in tears. The cast is all incredible, it truly feels like you follow around a band of brothers. Tom Hanks leads the band and steals the show. A classic movie that will never be forgotten.
Ryan R (br) wrote: Leto does a good job "pretending" to be the egotistical, self centered, competitive man that was Steve Prefontaine on screen. It is a good true story and has much to offer in the way of potential, but Prefontaine doesn't break any world records here; more of a nice jogging speed. Its counterpart Without Limits that was released one year later is moderately better, but also comes with Donald Sutherland at the helm; so it's expected. I rate this one 64/100 Review # 23

Dimitrisfl D (mx) wrote: Mister Hitvhcock never dissapoints me as a director, so the fact that this film was boring as hell was the writer's fault. Technically it didn't lack of anything, but still, I wanted something more.
Patrick M (jp) wrote: A bit of a mixed bag. Had some excellent aspects to it--the sets, Bela Lugosi as Ygor, the inspector character--but also some bad ones. Basil Rathbone overacts and overall it's just unnecessary. That having been said, parts of it really work and it builds suspense and excitement.
DeJon D (ag) wrote: Open Season is as funny and entertaining as the Madagascar movies. Open Season has great animation, humorous jokes, and great characters.
