(br) wrote: Though it wasn't exactly funny, it at least made a good effort. Spencer Rice is a decent enough actor in this film, but it's the smaller-name actors such as Lindsey Cornell, Duncan Christie and particularly Mark Breslin who make the film truly emotional. A great story that probably looked good on paper, but in practice the story doesn't work out. Some moments were just insulting to our intelligence...for example, having us believe that Mark Tobias and the entire film team managed to sleep in a van overnight watching Rob Black's house. What is most frustrating is that this is a great story that ends up being "only good" because of the transition from paper to screen. Overall, it's worth a watch, but don't expect to see everything you expected to see.

(nl) wrote: This classic sci-fi thriller is supposedly the inspiration for the Alien movie, one of my favorites. The basic premise is simialr, but Alien did much more with it. This is very simplistic, which I'm sure is a sign of the times it was produced. Low production values and poorly scripted dialogue make it hard to care about the characters. The man in the alien suit is laughable. I wanted to like it more than I actually did.
