I was hoping it would be as good as the show. Hopefully sometime in the future he makes another AVGN movie. I doubt he'll ever get the budget that he had for this one, but he doesn't even need a budget. His internet show is very cheap and that show made him somewhat famous. If he would just make a new AVGN episode and stretch it out to an hour and a half it could work. You don't need a budget to swear a lot and compare everything to an anal evacuation.

(au) wrote: An excellent Coen Brothers film that covers many of the same themes as Fargo, but with less humor for the audience. Instead, we have characters who who more faithfully follow their own particular codes, especially the villain of the piece, excellently played by Bardem. The Coen Brothers have a darker feel here than Fargo, and the characters are more seriously drawn. The key scene is the one of our last sight of Carla Jean, beautifully played by Kelly MacDonald. She is the only innocent character in the film, and she refuses make any compromises either. She remains true to what she believes. The scene of Bardem leaving her house is key and very understated. This is a movie that I'm very glad I saw, despite the fact that crime films are generally not my favorite genre, because it is definitely worth seeing!

(ca) wrote: Get ready for a non serious karate movie with lots of action and comedy. Filming is urban and captures the aggression and action with jest. The interaction of YunFat and Seann are worthy of the meditative time and effort put into their screen characters. The story though familiar is polished and steady allowing for a relaxed and enjoyable time. Nibbles: Tortilla Torte.
