Ryley R (br) wrote: While not as good as its predecessor, Finding Dory is a film that swims much deeper than it lends itself to be, and only a company that has as great a track record as Pixar can pull off so truly and wholeheartedly what the film is trying to say.
Heather Z (ag) wrote: Portia is not too exciting but quite realistic, which is not exactly what I want in my film-watching. But I did identify with the secret twist. I really enjoyed how you could actually SEE the college applicants and hear their stories as she read them.
Ryan A (nl) wrote: What I got say about "Secretariat" is that it's a movie about a miracle being born! The performance in this movie are phenomenal. "Diane Lane gives such a priceless performance!" The directing by Randall Wallace is outstanding. The screenplay by Mike Rich is great. And the score in this movie I personally love this score in this movie. "I'm raving that "Secretariat" is a movie that you will just jump for joy! It's such a inspiring film!"
Mike B (kr) wrote: Largely unwatchable due to bad dialogue, repetition, and a very pedestrian and glorified approach to the people and the event. Not good.

Siarra F (jp) wrote: A nice little thriller with some genre-appropriate and rather predictable twists. Unfortunately none of the characters are particularly likeable, which really takes away from the immersive element. The simplistic writing and minimal setting make this movie look very cheap, and it's definitely not one for the critical viewer.

I'm somwhere inbetween

Marko Z (kr) wrote: It does drag at certain part's and it's definitely not Nolan's best work, but with good performances and an unorthodox approach to the reverse chronological order is originally unique.
Will L (ag) wrote: Now this, THIS is a Punisher movie! Sure it's far from perfect, and perhaps borrows a bit too much from 1989's 'Batman', but it does the source material justice. Its style is reminiscent of 70's grindhouse movies, and Ray Stevenson makes for a great Frank Castle. It's a superhero/slasher hybrid that gives us the best Punisher yet. (To be fair, though, that isn't saying much.)
