When a fashion model dies during an abortion, a series of murders begins, starting with her doctor. The next victims are connected to the modeling agency where she worked, Albatross, run by a hard edged and jealous bi-sexual, Gisella, married to a Farouk-like dissolute. One suspect is Carlo, a playboy photographer who has a hot temper and refuses to share information with the police. He becomes the lover of Magda, another photographer at the agency, who's probably in danger. The murderer wears a black motorcycle outfit and helmet. Will anyone discover the murderer's identity before the entire agency dies?

I don't think this movie got enough praise for what are Soldiers have to go through once they come home: they go from holding a weapon and saying "No one will hurt you tonight not on my watch" to coming home & hearing a honking horn and feeling like they have to dunk&cover... Sad really are Government treats Our Boys this way... Great Movie ..Must see!!!

Mike C (nl) wrote: I had heard this was a sad movie but I had my doubts. Naturally, I will compare it to Hachi, the quintessential sad movie that also happens to be a dog story. It doesn't compare to dear Hachi, but it still packs a punch. The movie romances terribly 1940s Mississippi. Everyone is a friend and you can just sit back and enjoy life all day. Unlikely. But the story of the dog is okay, and if you've ever had a pet, or a girl, or just like animals in general, you can probably relate. It gets real sad at the baseball game. There is a really low-budget, quite odd movie with a popular actor. His character has a chicken as a friend. One day, I guess to impress these bullies/and or prove the chicken meant nothing to him, he bit its head off in front of them. As crazy as that movie was, that scene hit really hard because you know of the regret to follow. It's the same with the baseball scene in this movie.Yadda yadda, of course it's a popular kids movie so you're not going to have any real crazy endings. You might, instead, have a pretty lame line to end it. But still, other than that, quite effective. I wouldn't have wanted to watch this for a first time at the movies if ya know what I mean.

I liked how complicated the movie was. I expected it to be straightforward and simple--for no other reason that the voice over at the beginning. However, the plot was intricate, and it was really hard to decide if you were supposed to like these characters. There's one scene in particular I cannot forget involving a shattered mirror that will forever seep into my subconscious, but for the most part, Joan Crawford was carrying this movie. It was a great script with a great director, but most of the cast was disappointingly mediocre. A must for Crawford fans. Anyone else can skip it.

First half was not good at all and the second have was just a little better.Sound track was pretty good and the story was inspirational but otherwise lots of problems.
Richard S (kr) wrote: This is a strange film to describe, it's a film full of threat and menace without anything too horrific actually happening. Over the cause of a couple of days ones respectful English teacher loses the man he is in a haze of booze and one particularly violent hunting trip. It's a well directed and acted film, you have a sense of forboding throughout without actually knowing what the big threat might actually be. Worth watching for something a little different.
