Heath M (mx) wrote: Incredible! Evolution of a great idea....laughed at, ridiculed, then accepted as truth. This movie is sure part of this process. Natural Healthcare is the farthest thing from laughable today. Our society is at a tipping point in healthcare. This documentary is a must for anyone wanting a different, safer, more effective approach for the health of their family.

Phillip C (ag) wrote: With the exception of the main character, Buzzy(Edward Burns), they are all a bunch of self absorbed assholes!!!! I guess the movie was made like that on purpose but it was still an hour and a half of my life I will never get back.

Martin T (es) wrote: Nuri Bilge Ceylan's style does appeal to me, but I didn't like this one quite as much as Distant. The director himself stars as a professor who breaks up with his girlfriend (his real wife Ebru Ceylan) and then tries to reconcile. The film is terrific at establishing a pensive mood of disillusionment and slowly exploring the characters. There's some incredible images and even some nice bits of humor. But the analagous use of the weather seemed really obvious. And after a while the film seems to meander... not that the scenes themselves aren't important to the narrative, just that you start to gradually care less and less. There's some very good work here, it just needs a stronger foundation.

Jacob B (es) wrote: I thought that xXx: State of the Union could be a fun movie at times and Ice Cube seemed to be having fun blowing stuff up but overall I think it would've worked better as a stand-alone film particularly because it ditches the enjoyable stunts that Vin Diesel pulled off in the first movie in favour of a climax that prefers to top it all off with CGI and also has a generic assassinate-the-President-of-US plot. While this movie could be a slight guilty pleasure, it also suffers from generic joke dialogue that I think is actually supposed to be funny such as an inevitable joke about the title XXX, something that Rob Cohen thankfully ditched in the first film and how Samuel L. Jackson initially asks Ice Cube's character who said the quote "Wars come and go, but my soldiers stay eternal" with Darius Stone simply saying "Tupac". Uh, ha ha? I still think, as a movie that's basically just black James Bond, that this movie could've been far worse.

Jeff H (kr) wrote: So ridiculous, it's good. From skinning lesbians to horrible over-acting to the random crazy preacher-guy to a way too long battle montage where Jesus takes down a bunch of atheists, it's all nuts. I would have liked it more if Jesus didn't shave and cut his hair 10 minutes unto the thing, though.

James T (br) wrote: I love this movie! Kirk Douglas is great in it, I'm a huge Michael J. Fox fan and he is great in this kind of light, warm hearted comedy as usual and I still lust after Olivia d'Abo since I was a kid and she was in Conan the Destroyer. The supporting cast do a great job of being err Greedy. This movie makes me glad I'm skint, at least I know I'm loved for me:D
