Uncle Bill is getting money taken from him by Mark that is not really going to the most worthwhile pursuit, all the while we the audience point and laugh at these not-quite-high functioning alcoholics. But you know what? They signed the waivers so screw 'em.

At multiple points throughout the movie, the action consists of watching Mr Turner wheeze his way up a flight of stairs. The half star is for the location filming which was absolutely beautiful. I'm not sure how long this movie actually is, but it feels like 6 hours or more. But if it were 6 hours of just the location shots intermixed with his art, that would have been more enjoyable than what I was actually subjected to.

I dug the abandoned hotel setting, but it's just a slow process to get to the end of this one, sorry folks.Rental?
