Charlie L (de) wrote: This movie was just hilarious. Bad acting, Halloween costume quality makeup and an absolutely ludicrous plot. Watch it for sheer camp value.

David B (ag) wrote: entertaining certainly, but feels as though it could do with a bit more action in a few places. John Wayne is his usual heroic self, but Henry Fonda is really the star as the bitter Colonel Thursday

Matthew D (kr) wrote: An uninspired detective mystery with a labyrinthine plot is crammed into an hour and given spoof styling. This mostly takes the form of an immensely annoying sidekick, some gurning to the camera and some playing around with editing. There's some nice atmosphere at the beginning and a small amount of entertainment to be drawn from the preposterous twists and over the top action, but these are only passing moments and it keeps up neither the fun nor the captivation levels.

Kristi M (ru) wrote: This is a shamelessly obvious remake of ET using updated technology and found footage style made by tweens in an I-Carly meets Blair Witch sort of way. My daughter loved it and I thought for kids fare it's pretty great compared to the other crap I have to sit through targeted at her age range. I know it's almost sacrilegious but I prefer this over the original ET (and so did my daughter). It's getting to the point where some classics are slowly being phased out and kids won't recognize a lot of movies as being a remake and kids don't care if it's stepping on the toes of a sacred classic in the hearts of generations past. It was fun for me to watch and the message was easy for my daughter to understand. She loved the "cute" alien and identified better with wanting to protect it vs the slightly scary and strange ET alien. To me the whole movie seems to be built around what kids actually like to watch instead of trying to craft something that critics won't dissect.

Harsh C (nl) wrote: Utterly stupid. The trailer contains the complete story so watch that instead and move on to something else.
