Dana H (it) wrote: I wasted SIX bucks to rent this on Amazon. It starts out slow, like a dumb teen drama found footage. When they actually make it to the woods, it gets a little interesting. But just when you have started actually paying attention, it takes a turn for the lame. All darkness and screaming, no witch, no monster, just running, screaming and ZERO PLOT.
Dimitris K (nl) wrote: I gave this movie a 1+1/2 for two reasons. One is because I liked the Africa scenes, and the other because the lead actress was quite good. Other than these two things, the movie has little to offer. From the title I would expect to see a girl getting kidnapped, and then going through some terrible situations. Instead, I saw her being spanked once because she played with the Master's kids, and then being sent to live in London like a housewife. Oh yes, once they locked her inside her room for punishment, so after all these hardships, one night, she decided to punch in the alarm code, open the door, and leave the house for good. Ok, I do not say that the living conditions were nice, but it is not worst than the living conditions of thousands of Europeans nowadays. The word Slave suggests a huge amount of mistreatment. Verbal abuse. Physical abuse. Rape. We see the minimal amount of all these here. The title would be more accurate if it were "I was kidnapped and forced to be a Nanny".Anyways, this movie is OK to watch, but if you missed don't worry about it...

Derek H (mx) wrote: An interesting story, and overall a pretty good movie. However, with all due respect to the director, I couldn't help but wonder how much bigger and better this movie would be if a director like Martin Scorsese would have gotten the opportunity to sink his claws into it.

Justin K (ag) wrote: One of the greatest revenge movies ever made and its part of the revenge trilogy from Chanwook Park, very well made and told, highly recommended, not for the squeamish.

Chris M (au) wrote: Oh Wow!!! So, who is this fiendish killer roaming the darkened halls of Rhonda's Workout with a giant safety pin(?)? Oh yes, a GIANT SAFETY PIN!!! Why, besides the obvious, would this person want to kill the tight, sculpted bodies caught gyrating in spandex and headbands, most of whom enjoy obknoxiously mugging for the camera during every long 80's synth scored workout montage? Well, let's just say that the by the end of Killer Workout, you really won't care. I can't imagine a story like this ever being taken seriously, at least I hope that's not what they were trying to do when the revelation of the killer is signaled by the perky psychopath gigling a maniacal laugh right as the end credits roll. Witness a bouncy blonde workout instructor quickly run down the street, wearing a leotard that is shaped like a thong in the back, exposing her ass. Bask in the glory of bad fight scenes with two steroid juiced meatheads. Delight in the inept acting and the hilariously tough as nails policeman. There's enough cheese here to feed a small nation for ten years. Did I mention that the film is ineptly brilliant? Go Rhonda!!!
John B (gb) wrote: The version that I assume is the best copy available was so poorly preserved and takes the viewer out of the story. I never got into it.
