Persuasive enough, I was a little dismayed by the jump from one question to another and not seeing a progressive development of an argument, but I think that went well in presenting a very balanced look at this issue of war profiteering.

Although groundbreaking for its dark depiction of sexuality and relationships, aside from Nicholson's performance this didn't really age that well. Other efforts by Mike Nichols, specifically Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf and Closer, tackle similar ideas and tones much more effectively.

The only reason i finished this film, was the faith i had in Stanley Kubric and the hope that it would at some point climax (no pun intended) this is by far, nicole kidmans worst performance and one typical of tom cruise. This films ONLY redeeming quality is it's visual appeal. Sorry not sorry, to all those hyping this movie on every corner of the internet. I said it. This movie blows.
