Bengel W (nl) wrote: Uma plays a very sexy superhero in this fun comedy that has a different look at the lifestyle. Photography and CGI are of a high standard allowing the stunts to come across well. The story is simple and brings some laughter to the screen. The main undercurrent is of a romantic nature allowing for the script to delve into the extreme nature of the woman. Nibbles: Walnut Whip.

Cassandra M (jp) wrote: This movie really stands out from all the rest that screened in San Francisco. Enough buzz to gain a special third screening! My husband and I were stunned when we saw it. It's was such a refreshing experience! It totally shakes your mind as the movie leads to more sweet madness and hilarious absurdity for Therese (played with such bravery by Sarah Lassez). And, despite its novelty, it's a well-acted and, surprisingly, dramatically-driven movie, too! When we thought it was all over, the last part of the movie totally pays off! Whether it's a statement of our current socio-political culture or our fascination of all things entertainment, it's just riveting. A food for thought, perhaps? One thing for sure, this movie totally rocks!

Jeff P (gb) wrote: Ya'll obviously haven't seen this or are just hating because it has a religious/supernatural spin. Way better than a lot of his give-up roles. It has everything you could want Arnold, Satan, y2k(as a joke), 1/2 a side boob & blood. I just re-watched it. Awesome! It's no Terminator or Predator but one of his best & Gabriel Byrne rules as the Prince of Darkness!

Johnny W (jp) wrote: A great Spike Lee movie with excellent performances from Mekhi Phifer, Harvey Keitel, John Turturro, Isaiah Washington and Delroy Lindo make it a thought-provoking film you can't help but watch!!!!

Christopher B (de) wrote: Burning Awesomeness! An excellent martial arts extravaganza from the ever reliable (I even like his Van Damme flicks) Ringo Lam with lots of creepy and gory moments. I take it this is based on one of Fong Sai Yuk's (also played by Jet Li in other films) many adventures, and judging from the 2 movies I've seen with the character, I wants more! Great, intense stuff with booby traps in an unescapable fortress and an indestructable villain, and above all, honour and friendship whilst kicking ass.

ashley p (ru) wrote: For Keeps is a sad but amazing movie. Molly Ringwald plays the mother that is depressed after her daughter's Birth. This movie is a very good one, but it was so sad the way she felt after the birth. She wouldn't look at her daughter or even hold her. When the baby cried she just ignored her. I would get frustrated with this movie sometimes though because of the way she treated her daughter. The time that she picked up her daughter when she was screaming and crying is when she thought someone was breaking into the house. It is horrible that it took that much for her to pick up her daughter. I love how in the end she ends up with the father of the baby. She went through so much with him but there love was so strong they stuck through it together.

Alexis N (de) wrote: Oh hello young George Clooney. I couldn't even tell you what's going on, half way through I was like, 'wait, what?!' It's so cheesy, so dumb and really hits home the fact that you should NEVER ask, "_____, is that you?" Because it never is and that's how you end up dead.

Chris P (mx) wrote: Needs an honourable mention, unless you've been living under a rock, on another planet you should have seen this, if not stop reading go rent or buy now. I'm bias as this is my favourite film of all time. Simply a brilliant classic follow up to Alien, nuff said.
