Anna P (kr) wrote: it was a bit cheesy at times. I was wondering who was looking after the kids and doing their job when they were meeting up for drinks in the afternoons... perhaps it was over the weekends mostly?I was confused with Hilary, has a second child and acted like she just ended up babysitting it? like... it is your second baby, you have done this before.Anyway some parts were a bit too much, funny at one point and then suddenly sad at another and also at some bits eye-roll worthy. It seems to be a a film about empowering women yet in the end, they are happy as they got their men (lady, however successful/happy you are, it is nothing if you don't have have a man by your side). All in all, if there is nothing else on tv, not even some cartoonst hat you might watch, might as well watch it.P.S. Nia Long was good.

Sarfara A (mx) wrote: P2 American/Canadianfilm directed by Franck Khalfoun - it was written and produced by trio of Alexandre Aja, Grgory Levasseur and Khalfoun (all involved in road-horror film The Hills Have Eyes 2006). Starring Wes Bentley (American Beauty) and Rachel Nichols. P2 is reference to level of parking-garage underground. Set on the eve of Christmas - a beautiful businesswoman (Rachel Nichols) is all set to head for home having pardoned senior in her office for some reasons and being the only last person to leave building. However, seems like fate is not working for her, since she loses mobile signals, car breakdown, shutting off of buildings interior doors and locks, as well as complete lights off - security guard Wes Bentley a psychopath, lonely sick person, who's been stalking Rachel; chains her to chair and celebrate Christmas with her in his security guard office - later takes her to give her gift in shape of the senior officer tied to chair on next level - it is revealed that earlier apology was for his sexual harassment toward Rachel that was captured on CCTV by Bentley - the next scenes involve cat-and-mouse chase; sounds familiar but not in case of P2 which applies logic and sense to follow and to escape and to catch. P2 like movies are total entertaining. What, actually makes them so enthralling to watch, is the simplicity of characters, atmosphere, blood and gore. In which case P2 successfully passes the test - movie offers bizarre bloodied death scene. Often overlooked performance from Wes Bentley, here, he actually approaches to the roll with calmness as well as soberness. Do give it a try and you won't be disappointed actually!!!

Matthew M (nl) wrote: More thematically compelling and with better action set-pieces, Toy Story 2 is a sequel that is just as good as the original - and one that isn't afraid to go to the more emotional side of storytelling.

Ken T (au) wrote: Often cited as among the great film in world cinema, Chantal Akerman provides a truly tedious study of a woman who is seemingly forced to proceed with menial chores demanded by men. These are repeated time and time again over the lengthy span of the film until she must do something drastic. I felt the film tedious to the viewer as well... nevertheless, a landmark film of the 1970s - just go in with plenty of patience...
Scott C (es) wrote: I was a wee bit disappointed in this...I was expecting it to grab me in the same way other Tarantino inspirations have (e.g.. Coffy) It might hold up better on another viewing. I liked how gruesome the revenge scenes were and there was a great poetry to the shots and set pieces.

Patrick W (au) wrote: Ferris Bueller, you're NOT my hero. Dear sweet baby Jesus this was a bad movie. The lead track from the soundtrack was a P Diddy rap sampling Led Zeppelin's Kashmir song that even was laughable. Godzilla terrorizes New York City, we find out he is really a she (don't make fun or PC Principal will get you), builds a nest in Madison Square Garden and has babies that are like Jurassic Park velociraptors. This movie is so so so bad.
