Tim M (br) wrote: "Eye-popping photography should draw viewers to this thoughtful, revealing doc." "Imhoof's film is remarkable in its close-up photography. The bees loom large, like creatures from some mutant planet; dangle together in a delicate chain; and fill the air, floating like unusually vivid dust specks." "Astonishing macro-photography captures the bees in all their surreal beauty."

Thomas S (nl) wrote: Being accustom to American cinema, its difficult to sit through a drama that doesn't assume entertainment and storytelling to be the same thing. There are parts of this movie that are beautiful. And there are parts that are downright heartbreaking. But without the cultural understanding, the hour and a half presentation is difficult to decipher, and maybe not worth the time.

Matthew S (ru) wrote: Forget about the script. This movie barely skimmed over the actual book. What is a famous historical record is reduced to Hollywood fantasy.

Matt K (de) wrote: I have to give this a completely middle-of-the-road rating. I can't say I disliked it, in fact, I was very entertained all the way through. The problem comes with the fact that the movie is so odd, that's the only word I can think of to describe it, odd. The plot is so weird, the acting is weird, the writing is weird, and the ending makes no sense, and the characters make no sense, and the background mime makes no sense. I just don't see how something like this could even be made, who thought this would make an interesting film? However, Better Midler (who is one of the most terrifying screen presences), and the Woodman himself make it far too watchable. I don't get it.

Well, I love this cause this is as close as I'm ever gonna get to seeing ABBA live in concert. Who would have thought, more than 20 years since they last sang together, and people still love them! I guess you'd only watch this movie if you love ABBA, but still, I love!

Alex F (de) wrote: An incredible crime/comedy/drama, with great characters and equally great performances, particularly by Farrell and Gleeson, the dialogue is really good, as well as the psyche of the characters and their motivations, the score and the cinematography are also top notch. A great movie overall.

Daniel D (it) wrote: I now like this movie more upon rewatching it. Dalton is really great at puling off the dark side of Bond, something Craig would attempt again in QoS. But while Craig manages to pull off Dark Bond well enough, he's just not on Dalton's level (at least for me).I do wish Dalton had been in 1-2 more Bond movies, but what's done is done. At least he got his sendoff as 007 on a solid note, which is quite a good thing indeed.
