Sonia N (nl) wrote: At first, this seems like the cliche, painful drama of the female lead abandoned with children and homeless, but unlike other movies where everthing is played over-the top, this is raw and plain. The greatness shines in this films honesty. It isn't always satifying, but it offers hope and that is all anyone needs.

Dan A (ag) wrote: Endings are so important. A good ending can turn a poor film into a decent one, but a bad ending plunges a decent film into the black depths of shitness. This was an okay movie until its ridiculous climax, I mean the film wasn't great by any stretch of the imagination, but it was passable. It was funny really. The rest of it was average cop stuff. Although Don Cheadle is horribly mis-cast and Ethan Hawke overacts, it was otherwise just alright. But that ending, tut tut.

Tim M (es) wrote: I haven't seen a zombie movie like this before. It's just two guys surviving. Pretty tedious, but great direction.

Ian C (de) wrote: Ted Prior is putting out his rubbish for the Binmen, when he is randomly kidnapped by some mercenaries who use human beings as the prey in their training camps. This time, they have taken the wrong man and the hunters become the hunted as a pissed off denim cut off clad Michael Danton kills anything that moves. The scene where he is forced to live off the land, is the finest moment in the history of cinema. A masterpiece.
