Very memorable and a great classic. Great production values. Good music, excellent sound, costume design and score. The plot is a familiar one to audiences today, but was quite fresh in 1936. Jessie Ralph provides fine support. I am not a fan of Jeanette MacDonald, but this is one of her best roles. Spencer Tracy is fine as always, and was nominated for an Academy Award for his performance in this film. Clark Gable is well cast in a role that's perfect for him. It is such an entertaining movie. The special effects in the earthquake scene rival the special effects from any decade of film making. San Francisco is a truly remarkable film. 88/100

ilarious-. Then people can actually kiss my ass". With a quote from the movie, " you can take the fat directly out of my butt, and you can put it into my lips. I highly recommend this movie and in my book it is a for sure five star winner. Watching someone else go through the same emotions and bringing comedy along with had my friends and I rolling on the floor. As a women I have felt many of the insecurities of my own body image. Perfect movie for a date, or girls night out. I laughed so hard I cried. The comedy is beyond funny. I give this movie a huge two thumbs up

There's only so much stupidity I can take in a movie. I just don't know if it's worth recommending. I get that. It's not meant to be taken seriously whatsoever. It knows it is. MacGruber is certainly funnier than the other SNL movies, but it's stupid beyond belief

you're such an overweight feline. Garfield, you fat cat, you've done it again

I thoroughly enjoyed this film, and you will to. It's the kind of film you want to see again. This is probably one of the best films of the summer so far. This film started slowly but builds up to the great scares. I liked the fact that it wasn't only a horror film, but somewhat a love story between Ed & Lorraine Warren. As for the acting, I thought it was wonderful, especially by Vera Farmiga as Lorraine Warren. Also, I liked how the film was directed by James Wan. I loved the cinematography of the movie. Also, I liked the fact that the movie is an old school horror film which uses sound effects and darkness to scare audiences. Even the opening credits looked like a 70's film. What I liked about this picture was that I loved the whole retro-70's look of it from the cars to the clothes. The movie was based on a true story of paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren who were helping the Perron family who experienced paranormal happenings at their Rhode Island home. This movie was definitely scary & chilling. I saw the new horror film The Conjuring today, and I absolutely loved it

It will only accentuate it. If you have ADD don't watch this movie. A novel concept but sounds better on paper than in actual execution. Just no. No
