The sit through is rough in the early going, since the character introductions are quick and overloaded with information. The fact that the characters tend to look similar doesn't help either. Nonetheless, as the story progresses, the film becomes much more interesting. There is a solid amount of martial arts action spread throughout. The effects dazzle visually and the choreography is a plus. The characters themselves are overshadowed by the effects and action, but the voice work of Richie Ren and Nicholas Tse are hard to argue.Storm Rider: Clash of the Evils lives up as a presentable martial arts animation out of China. Recommendable.

The storyline wasn't incredibly strong, but the performances were sincere and the pace of the film was smooth. I felt like it was a movie a lot of people would be able to relate to. I enjoyed it.

(fr) wrote: A heartwarming story about two outcasts with typical features of scandinavian black humor. The actors deliver outstanding performances of these mentally challenged protagonists. It is not a "light" comedy to watch but the movie will leave you with a warm feeling in your belly. So why not all 5 stars? The camerawork is a little bit shaky sometimes and the movie, unfortunately, already looks pretty old.

(br) wrote: It was an good movie. The story was of the romance triangle type. The mecha were awesome as always in macross films.
(gb) wrote: A funny sequel every bit as good as the original.
(ag) wrote: A story immersed in emotion..an insightful view of Dora Carrington's life...have to say the story gives a most unconventional view into early 20th Century way of life in England..obviously not mainstream
(it) wrote: One of my faves, classic frat movie in the the style of Animal House with a university full of wing nuts who are all involved in some sort of political correctness cause with the exception of the group of misfits who call the Pit home, all they want is to party and have a good time, now if only they could make everyone else see their way of thinking. Jeremy Piven, Chris Young, David Spade, Sarah Trigger all turn in good performances as well as Jake Busey, Jessica Walter and Jon Favreau "Blow me where the pampers is" LOL!!!
(br) wrote: I'm not a big fan of this sequel (to the greatest movie ever made), but I did an outstanding job in it. My performance is the only reason that anyone should really watch it. Man, I have some great scenes.

This performance with with an American heavy metal, & weapons used in the movie makes it a cult classic...

(us) wrote: Watched this with all ages of our family, from age 10 to age 70. Ava Gardner is gorgeous, the costumes are stunning, yet Robert Taylor delivers his lines like he is Sam Spade narrating classic film noir. You'll find lots of old film giggles, like when the falcon Lancelot is carrying on horseback falls over in a taxidermy-stiff faint in the long shots, but miraculously comes to life in the close shots. My favorite part was the "pillow fight" during the jousting match. After all the jousting and sword fighting, all the knights have a great time hitting each other with some sort of pillow-like soft objects, knocking each other off horses until there was only one remaining on horseback. The general consensus in our viewing group was that all world conflict should be solved in this fashion. One big pillow fight and whoever is left standing wins. Works for me!So, while we laughed at the dated and anachronistic silly things in the movie, we thoroughly enjoyed watching it again.
