The films seem to inspire strong feelings (one way or another), which sort of mystifies me since this film seemed so slight ... entertaining enough, but barely there. Kent Osbourne of "SpongBob SquarePants"/"Adventure Time" fame seemingly plays himself. He meets a much younger girl on Chatroulette, she comes to stay with him in LA, he tries to sleep with her and mostly fails. I was engaged enough to watch, but nobody seemed like a real person which seems wrong for such a lo-fi enterprise.

You can't keep your eyes off of Lee Tergesen and Enid Graham, who fully embody these vicious characters in every frame. This will leave you surprised and with plenty of food for thought. Easily the best movie I've seen so far this year.

Allan C (kr) wrote: Endearing enough of time-waster comedy about local boy Romano running for mayor against Mooseport's newest resident, former president Hackman. The two also compete for the affection of Maura Tierney. It's a decent enough of a premiss of a comedy and they wisely make Hackman an affable character instead of making him an outright villain. However, you'll basically forget about the movie 30 seconds after it's over. i actually just remembered I'd watched it earlier this week and remembered to write a review. One interesting factoid about the film, this is the last movie that Gene Hackman has appeared in. I kind of thought he would have gone out on a higher note.

Niklas J (es) wrote: The biggest fail of this movie is that Van Damme is not in most of the movie. The movie resembles an attempt on riding on the success of the Karate Kid movie from 1984, but while the Karate Kid is a masterpiece, this is a B, possible a C, quality movie. The acting is horrible and the story lacks any depth and has a lot of gaps. The fighting itself is average. It's nice to see a martial art movie with a bit of speed in the fights, but besides that, and some nice Van Damme moves, there's not much to the fights. If your a big fan of martial art movies, this film will be an okay entertainment, if your not, then don't watch it.
