(mx) wrote: There is no point in judging Brittany Murphys acting qualities in this movie with event taking place soon after film was finished in mind, but we can trash down the movie in itself. It's horrible. It doesn't matter that its made directly for some sci/fi-channel, it's not the effects and animation that sucks. Neither the actors. You could have put Sir Lawrance Olivier in this movie and lines and script would still be crap. It's almost impressive how money invested in this movie was blown away in such a stupid way.

Then when you factor in the ample nakedness of Shannon's gorgeous form, you will understand why Private Obsession remains one the most popular softcore titles of all time.

(ag) wrote: Coppola once again delivers over stylized, extremely pretentious tripe that he thinks is fine cinema art. I feel bad for the performers, they do try, but with the ridiculous material they have to work with they sink. What a mess of a movie. The only thing about this movie that is good is the score.

(fr) wrote: A throwback to Stallones earlier career where plot and acting take a backseat to mindless macho violence. As the title suggests Stallone is Mr bad arse who likes to play with knives, guns and bombs for a hobby. After getting his knickers in a twist over his dead partner Stallone embarks on an hour of murdering people..

(es) wrote: As Walt's defining picture, it shatters all expectations on the first viewing, and only gets better every time you watch it. With it's colourful sets, jolly songs, beautiful special effects, and wonderful performances by Julie Andrews and Dick Van Dyke, it is a modern masterpiece that I would watch infinite times if i could.
