Gavin P (jp) wrote: A pretty original (for the early 70s) take on robots gone mad! Definite elements of 'Terminator' & 'I Robot' at the end, but it's easy to see where Chrichton got the idea for his "theme park gone wrong" - Roman, Medieval & Wild West in this film, but substitute dinosaurs & you have 'Jurassic Park' 20 years later! Benjamin is good, Brolin Snr looks like Christian Bale does now, & Brynner's silver contacts make him look like an extremely eerie android. Terrible score and some logic flaws, and doesn't really kick into get until 60min in (shame when it's only an 85min film), but an OK 70s sci-fi film.

Moya W (ag) wrote: This movie ended up being a lot better than I expected it to be. I was hooked to the screen until the very end. I couldn't really feel the chemistry at the beginning of it but throughout the movie I started to believe in it more and more. Although it was never anything that really bothered me that much. It could sometimes be difficult to hear what they said because the voices were a bit low and droned. But other than that this was a really good movie about acceptance and believing in yourself and trying to figure out who you really are.

Deb S (au) wrote: All About The Benjamins" isn't a great movie by any means but it is funny with some really hilarious scenes. Ice Cube plays Bucum Jackson, a Miami bounty hunter who will do anything to make a quick buck. One of his jobs includes relentlessly chasing down the fast-talking con man Reggie Wright (Mike Epps) who while being pursued through city streets and back alleys stumbles upon a vicious criminal planning to exchange stolen diamonds worth $20 million dollars. Reggie hides out in the back of the getaway van, but is quickly found out. After a narrow escape, he returns home to his girlfriend Gina, played by the lovely and sexy Eva Mendes. Whilst watching the lottery on TV they realize that they have won and $60 million dollars could soon be theirs. Unfortunately Reggie accidentally left his wallet, with the winning ticket inside, back in the thieves' van. To compound his misery, he is nabbed the next day by Bucum, who is determined to throw him in jail. Suspicious of his claims to have won the lottery, Bucum reluctantly goes along with Reggie's claims of diamond theft, and soon finds out that he's telling the truth and gets more than he bargained for as they become partners, and go ahead with their plan to outsmart the bad guys. Many obstacles lie in their path, and both soon find their lives in danger.

John B (ca) wrote: For the money that they put into this thing...oh what could have been. Instead we get a pretty rubbishy story. Expect to get nothing out of this film.

Johanna G (it) wrote: One of the stupidest films i have ever seen. It wasn't even stupid-fun.

Jacob W (gb) wrote: What a load of twee nonsense. I didn't make it to the end. This may well be deliberately awful but that doesn't make it clever, it makes it pointless.

Lucas Y (mx) wrote: Intense action, graphic violence, well acted and directed. Point Break is absolute California. Keanu Reeves, Patrick Swayze and Gary Busey are great together. "Utah, get me 2!" Point Break isn't a smart film, but it's fun throughout. And the Anthony Kiedis appearance is hilarious. "That would be a waste of our time."

Claudia U (au) wrote: Funny and cute, yet another lovestory that tells you about how love can overwhelm you and mess up your whole life and STILL can make you think its the best thing that ever happened to you. Oh and it makes you really appreciate Fly me to the moon by Frank Sinatra!

Dustin A (ru) wrote: I gotta see this movie. No one reviewing it seems to realize Al Pacino is playing the dad of Adrock from the Beastie Boys (who wrote the film based on his own experiences)-Which is insane.

Guido S (mx) wrote: The greatest film never made? In the 70s visionary avant garde director tries to bring an iconic sci-fi movie to life. He brings together an A+ group of people from artists to musicians and special effects guys to assemble what he hopes to be one of the most influential movies of all time. When you look a the cast he assembled, he was definitely on to something. Partway through the movie, you come to the realization why this movie had absolutely no chance in Hollywood: the director. While he is incredibly charismatic and someone who you can tell lives and breathes his craft, he also is someone who isn't going to play by anyone's rules but his own to his own detriment. Had the film somehow was made, it might have been a cornerstone piece, but my guess is it would have been something that only film nerds 20 years later would even know about with how esoteric he was going to make it. Not to mention how much he blatantly says he wanted to change the story of Dune to his own liking.I would have loved to see that movie if for only the curiosity of it. I feel like the film succeeded in shaping film as we know it as people who worked on this went on to bigger things like Alien and other classics.

Markus A (ru) wrote: I am a big fan of the character of Jonah Hex. But this movie ruins it. It is just a loud action film (Which I am usually a fan of, but not here). Josh Brolin really tries and I honestly think he is the best part of the movie. This movie is not very good. Also, Megan Fox (As always) is awful in this movie. I do not recommend this. Skip it.
