Carla H (ru) wrote: If it was some sort of passion that drove Herzog to produce this film, that passion was likely frozen under the river during that Siberian winter wanting to be thawed out. Thankfully, the moving pictures speak for themselves, but they don't necessarily speak of happiness here. A scenic documentary, nonetheless, and one worth seeing many times even if only for its scenery.

Wes S (ca) wrote: Bit of a boring survival film that has so many things that make little sense or add to the plot. The characters are a bore and the ending was unsatisfying. This film is too slow to be suspenseful or entertaining.

Pamela D (us) wrote: Perpetually tanned George Hamilton is sexy and funny in this sardonic, wry portrayal of the famous stunt biker's cult mystique. The semi-fictionalized character study traces a chain of bizarre episodes, characters and hi-jinks from Knievel's boyhood in Butte to his teenage burglaries, jumping career, spectacular crashes, and finally to his quest to jump the Grand Canyon. (When the National Park Service turned him down, he had to settle for the now controversial Snake River Jump.) This is one of those really offbeat, unusual 1970's dramas, the kind of arty film that isn't made anymore. Hard to find, but uniquely entertaining and worth the watch if you can.

William W (ru) wrote: A fun though irreverent comedy, with William Lundigan as a soldier returning after WWII to find his wife has placed his life savings into a money pit, an apartment building that's threatened to be condemned. They meet in Frank Fay's character Charley, a mysterious and charming older man who has all the older maids charmed, and offers to give them enough money to keep the property solvent. The landlords are increasingly suspicious and sure enough, the police and FBI get involved. Recommended if you're a fan of the genre.

Peter P (ag) wrote: Although this has a good cast, it just seem to have very little story and was going no where fast, and considering it has a running time of 2 1/2 hours I gave up after the first 1/2 hour.

Russ B (es) wrote: 7/29/2016: Not near as good as the first three. It was ok, but a bit slow at times and not enough action. The fighting scenes were good, but there weren't many.
