Amy R (nl) wrote: You know, it wasn't terrible. Made on the cheap, but you could tell that some real thought went into the camera work. But the movie totally failed at convincing me that plunging your hand into someone's innards could conceivably be erotic, and without that, the whole thing felt pretty pointless. Also the star had the acting ability of a chalkboard eraser, though the other actors weren't too bad.

I was pleased to see though that Keith's personality was highlighted in "Shine A Light" as he is usually overshadowed by the charismatic Mick Jagger. And it is always a joy to watch Buddy Guy and Jack White do what they do best.

Claudia R (es) wrote: The script is bad, boring and doesn't even make much sense. In this case the only good thing about this movie is that it's short.

Jim G (ag) wrote: A British comedy classic. Pokes fun at space movies.

KJ P (mx) wrote: Now I may be alone on this one, but "For Your Eyes Only" is easily one of the best bond films of the series. It is definitely the best film of the Roger Moore lead films. The action is cranked up to eleven here and the story does not really take slow turn. You are always on the edge of your seat and I cared about all of the characters involved. Roger Moore is great as a more serious bond in this picture and the villain really gives him a run for his money. When talking about a bond film, it really comes down to the actor portraying him, the action set pieces, and if the story is intriguing. Overall, "For Your Eyes Only" is a fantastic film!

Sanjid P (ca) wrote: A very well crafted atmospheric British suspense thriller set in rural France. Excellent camera works & nice background scores made it thoroughly captivating. As the main character Jane doesn't speak/understand French well & there was no subtitles, so we can feel a sense of her confusion and mounting fear while the local people were talking around suspiciously. It worked pretty well to develop the tension. Moreover, saw it on a B/W format...which added a bonus cult tone.(An American remake is going to release this year & having Amber Heard on the lead;-)

Wrik S (kr) wrote: Classic Satyajit Ray style movie, with intensity to the core and brilliant execution in every department.... not too entertaining per say, but never the less, a classic watch....

Sam H (nl) wrote: This feels very segmented. It's like a tangerine. You peel off one bit, eat it and then move onto the next which sometimes tastes strangely different. Jack was good. Ralph was a bit... Meh. I really like Piggy. I actually felt something when he was squished...

John H (nl) wrote: Another film with an incoherent plot, but there are some remarkable fight scenes.

Jeffrey B (nl) wrote: A nice movie with birds and a good straightforward story. It's music is also quite catchy.

Ole J (de) wrote: The story is nothing in this movie really, it is mainly the characters and the actors portraying then that works, of course the story leads them in these weird and awkward situations that really shapes the fun in the movie. It is entertaining and fun, but also gives a bit to think about. The main character played by Jesse Eisenberg is a burdened boy, that has to endure and do a lot, but it all ends well and he really is great and fun in this movie and keeps it together.
