Justin R (it) wrote: Total genius. The Monty Python story around the events and time of the release of 'Life of Brian' told in an inventive and, even more cleverly, Python-esque way. Somehow the inimitable characters are captured amazingly. Charles Edwards does such an great job as Michael Palin it is often confusing to remember it's not actually him. Darren Boyd's Cleese is almost as good, given the enormity of the task. Factually acurate with attention to detail where it needs to be and playfully irreverent for the rest. Wonderful.

Cecily B (gb) wrote: I actually really enjoyed this film lots of sexual tension not saying its the best film ever but it was my kind of movie

Nick M (kr) wrote: This is inspired by a real life incident where a man was stuck in a woman's windshield and let him bleed out in her garage overnight. This fictional interpretation of that interesting tale takes it in another direction and goes for the extreme. I like where it led to, but getting there took a good long while.

Barry H (us) wrote: Wow what a suprise the film has the original director of the first one back, and its just as good.

Johnny B (de) wrote: The plot of this French thriller feels somewhat inplausible and the two main characters are not particularly likeable. However a tense atmosphere is deftly conjured up as all Antoine wants to do is escape the claustrophobia of his Rover 75 car (interesting choice for a French character) with traffic jams, heat and a disinterested wife to contend with as they head south on holiday. He therefore takes every opportunity to take a break and down a few whiskies at the same time. The best thing about this film is the superb cinematography coupled with the Debussy soundtrack Nuages which makes the motorway journey look beautiful. The plot doesn't hold together so well but retains the interest. One minor point of interest is that the Irish Rocker that Antoine meets in a sleazy rock bar is played by a Micky Finn. I wonder whether it was the former T Rex bongo player of the same name who died around the time this film would have been made.

Steve S (ag) wrote: Again, terrible exploitation: Sex, violence, cruelty, sadism, and sexual perversion. Another inspiration for my burgeoning screenplay, Attack of the Killer Nazi Lesbian Sadist Vampire Nuns.

Steve S (kr) wrote: ***Due to the recent RT changes that have basically ruined my past reviews, I am mostly only giving a rating rather than a full review.***

Casey Z (nl) wrote: I find something about this movie to be absolutely irresistible. It is an odd and quirky movie with a huge amount of heart at its core. I like it more and more every time I watch it.

David L (gb) wrote: Snoopy, Come Home is overly serious with not enough humor and it needed to focus more on the rest of the Peanuts gang, but the focus on Snoopy and Charlie Brown brought a lot of very emotional scenes and it is probably their best story yet. The songs are subpar with the exception of its titular song which is great, the film is surprisingly mature and thoughtful and it features many heartwarming scenes leading to a mostly satisfactory second Peanuts film.

Martin G (de) wrote: This movie was terrible. One cliche after another. Terrible direction and terrible action. Terrible screenplay as well. What a waste of an evening.
