For some odd reason this movie is interesting and intriguing. The plot is not that special but how the director and the acting of this movie makes it special. You could have made a pg 13 version of fight club but the directors wanted the realness so that fight club would be realistic. And it is realistic and is interesting. How something so simple becomes so iconic and people consider this movie a timeless classic.

Vincent H (ca) wrote: It was a pretty decent film. Not a whole lot of action, but director Newman paced the movie quite nicely nonetheless and when that pacing does reach a climax, you'll find yourself on the edge of your seat. Also, the photography of the logging scenes are visually stunning.

Arnaud C (de) wrote: Nice movie, as usually in those westerns the villain is much more appealing than the Hero. The hero is R. Hudson but it could have been anyone else as the hudson prestation is quite forgettable.Otherwise a traditionnal western.

Yash B (ru) wrote: A great deal better than a movie about cheerleading has any right to be. I expected to watch this movie and absolutely hate it. Its actually kind of funny and somewhat enjoyable to watch. It has smart and witty dialogue and a good enough premise that keeps you engaged just enough to stay invested in the story. I am perfectly aware that I am not the demographic for this movie so the fact that I even say its decent shows a lot. If you're a tween girl who's into cheer leading, you'll probably love this movie. But if you're not, you just might smile occasionally and not hate yourself for watching it.

Nicholas L (br) wrote: Putting away the off editing and scrambled plot structure, this is a terribly depressing and unrelenting story.
