Although awkward college student Todd Howard is particularly adept at science, he's paying for school with an athletic scholarship that he will lose should he not fare well in an upcoming boxing tournament. Luckily for Todd, he has inherited the same family curse that once turned his cousin into a werewolf. As he transforms into the hairy, fanged, howling monster, he finds both his physical agility and his popularity skyrocketing -- but at what cost?

(de) wrote: Pleasantville is a simple but beautiful film. It has wonderful visuals, a great little idea, some good characters, and a nice bit of commentary on society. Its also quite funny, especially Don Knotts. It does what movies should do, invent it's own world and visual flair, and tell a good story. The whole cast is great, and it is well worth seeing more than once.

(mx) wrote: This movie is very clever. It's a mix between Pyscho, and The Texas Chainsaw Massacare, witch is a great mix. This movie may not be that scary, I think of it more as just a fun movie. I love the finale were Farmer Vincent puts on a pig mask and uses a chainsaw. In my opinion it's very iconic. I would put Farmer Vincent up there with Jason, and Michael Myers, and Leatherface.
