David U (mx) wrote: Heavy-handed is a mild descriptor. Crossing Over tries to be the Traffic of immigration, but it falls well short of the mark. Still, it has some entertainment value.

And only one man can stop them - Jack Deth.Set (and made) six years after the events of the first 'Trancers' movie, this sequel is not as good, but still very entertaining. The storyline feels a lot slower, as it takes time re-introducing characters and setting up the plot. But when things get going, the movie returns to the low-budget vibe that made the original so much fun. Tim Thomerson steps back into the role of Jack Deth as if he has never been away, and it is nice to see so many returning cast members. Cult actors Jeffrey Combs and Richard Lynch are welcome additions and play their parts in their signature over the top manner.
Ryan J (jp) wrote: Plot definitely had potential. However, late 80's cheese ruined the film. The plot of the film centers around a "rage" virus being let loose in a government facility. But the people infected acted more like morons and dorks then actual people on a hell bent murder spree. "28 Days Later" definitely portrayed such a scenario more realistically. AVOID!
Kaleb W (us) wrote: While the film recaptures the presence of Sean Connery, his performance is lackluster, bored, and tired. It is clear he is not giving his all in this film. Ridiculous moments, a campy feel, and only a short five minute reference to the events of the last film before the saddest moment of the Bond series is just forgotten, are just some of the problems with the film. Feeling down graded after OHMSS, the film has some of my least favorite bond villains in Mr. Witt and Mr. Kidd, and one of my least favorite Bond girls in Tiffany Case. Still, an impressive action scene through downtown Las Vegas, and a well directed final battle on an oil rig save the film from being a complete waste of time.
Varun R (nl) wrote: Kurosawa compared Satyajit Ray's movie to an endlessly flowing river. This one is more about walking down a silent road towards the sea and sitting by the sand staring into the waves, till sundown. Beautiful :)

Veer G (br) wrote: Getaway is a middle of the road mediocre summer blockbuster of 2013. Ethan Hawke's talent is completely wasted in this movie, don't get me started on Selena Gomez. This movie has nothing but car chases after car chases which can get really boring after 30 minutes. Not only is the movie "getting away" with your money but it has an excuse to "getaway" with your time.
