Francisco G (nl) wrote: Superbly shot, intriguing premise told by a sort of videogame aesthetic with the protagonist going to the next level where new dangers await, great concept, very original and fit soundtrack and a jaw dropping emotional ending that no one sees it coming (makes me want to see more of it). Unfortunently it has some big drawbacks... the acting is overall atrocious (though, fortunently there aren't many dialogues), some scenes are a bit too long and add nothing to the story and some sound design on the creatures is repetitive and imediatly recognizable from any given sound library.

David K (ca) wrote: This movie is really messed up! The end!

Daniel G (nl) wrote: Gone Baby Gone may be a little bit longer than it should, but it's a thrilling and dramatic story that poses one of the best moral dilemas one could think of. And it's pretty real about it too. I wouldn't say it's the best acting I'd see, but it's the story that needs needs the focus here.

Nik M (it) wrote: True Lies benefits from James Cameron's well-directed, explosive action and Jamie Lee Curtis' performance. The plot, after the first act, diverts onto an entirely other story that only serves a minimal effect on the bigger story at hand. Still, another Schwarzenegger-pumped action flick added to the fanbase's list of favourites.

Tristan M (kr) wrote: Decent film with good performances by the leads. You could see this as a precursor to "under the veneer of suburbia" films like American Beauty and The Ice Storm, but the plot leads towards melodrama rather than social satire.

Alex W (de) wrote: The first thing that struck me about this film is the irony of the storyline and plot of this film being more postmodern while the acting style was still that old over the top modern style. This is a decent film but is good to watch because of the cultural impact it had (true of many films). Lots of topics that had to be inflammatory in 1957 explored in this movie, and the performances make it feel like heavy melodrama. Finally the pic on the poster is very misleading.

Ashley H (it) wrote: I Am Number Four is a disappointing film. It is about aliens and their Guardians are hiding on Earth from intergalactic bounty hunters. Alex Pettyfer and Timothy Olyphant give terrible performances. The screenplay is badly written. D.J. Caruso did a horrible job directing this movie. I was not impressed with this motion picture.
