Andy D (jp) wrote: I was dissapointed with this film; I wasn't a fan of the art style or the plot; also I would have thought anyone watching the film wouldn't have needed the forced introductions to each character. Highlights were Constantine and Swamp Thing.

Carlos Z (br) wrote: Decent, acting is a little weak and too fundamentalist

Dave G (de) wrote: A steady but overlong drama about an aging farmer trying to reclaim his home. Worth seeing for Hal Holbrook's performance.

Thomas H (au) wrote: A different yet typically gruesome horror film. The weird chants, traditional aura and intense bursts of action throughout near to last scene; strangely came across as a Scooby Doo movie... Due to the boats across water and the breed of menacing creatures curdling beneath innocent faces. The directors of this film didn't want keep the more raunchy characters away from our cinemas, with semi nude sex scenes, comes a slice of menacing anti social behaviour including A blood infested rape (with 2 witnesses) as a demented little girl sucks the life from our now dead main after a quick flash of her armoury. Defiantly for the more socially/mentally disturbed people, if you want blood, rape and torture I present you with your film.

Joshua C (nl) wrote: Following in the footsteps of such great film biopics as Gandhi (1982), Malcolm X (1992) and Michael Collins (an underrated gem from 1993), Milk is one of the boldest, most daring, important, and downright entertaining films ever committed to celluloid. Sean Penn is absolutely riveting as the slain political activist. This is, to steal a quote from Woodrow Wilson, "like writing history with lightening."

Anders A (fr) wrote: Ingenious fantasy running mad, in the shady and fuzzy borders between dream and reality. Absurd sexuality in a tale spun out of a unlogical dream, creating a unique and bizarre mind-explosion.

Graham M (br) wrote: A low-budget meta comedy that I could relate to even with my limited experience in making films, though it is by design somewhat repetitive and ended just as I was getting into it.

Noname (gb) wrote: This is the first time i saw this movie and i have never heard anything about it before. A cast with Charles Bronson and Lee Marvin and with a genre like this its a must see flick with no doubt. There are a few other good familar actors aswell so the perfomances will not let you down. The story takes places in the 1930's where Albert Johnson , a trapper in the winter mountains kills a man in self defense and will soon have a bunch of men after him for justice.. Quite simple plot and very exciting. I love these kind of movies with beautiful landscapes which im very familar to myself. The movie reminds me of First Blood in a way and Brosnan fits perfect in his role. Its not a superb classic but its a movie worth a closer look if you have totally missed it like i had.

Randy T (gb) wrote: Old school western that's gloriously and shamelessly politically-incorrect. Features genre giants like Gary Cooper, Burt Lancaster, Cesar Romero, Ernest Borgnine, Jack Elam and Charles Bronson.
