I learned a lot and have watched it a couple of times, cuz there is a lot of info in it. I was oblivious before, at least now I have a clue. I highly recommend it.

Anna S (ag) wrote: Glenn Ford plays a railroad worker who meets Gloria Grahame's character on a train. Grahame's character is married to an older man who loses his job and she goes to the company's boss to get her husband's job back. Then, the boss is murdered on a train and Ford falls in love with Grahame's character, who is no good. In court, Ford testifies that he hasn't seen Grahame on the train at the time of the murder, sensing she's mixed up in the murder. The opening and closing shots (showing railroad tracks from a moving train) are masterfully shot, and shots of railroad tracks recur throughout the course of the movie. One particular shot, of a train entering a tunnel, is of course endowed with metaphorical significance, standing for sexual intercourse, as after the shot the camera moves to Ford and Grahame saying words of love to eachother at his appartment. This allows Lang to conform to the production code while also making it apparent that the characters had sex.

Christopher S (kr) wrote: Really awful children's film from Mexico. At times the ridiculousness and strange visuals get so bizarre as to reach an almost surreal level, but it's never quite as unintentionally funny as you'd want it to be, and the sluggish pacing can make it a hard to sit through from beginning to end.

Douglas L (it) wrote: A watchable film with a good cast. Its almost like a Bonnie and Clyde story. I like the setting in the 40's and 50's, but I didnt see much depth from the characters, and Travolta's connection of being "alone" like the murderers may have been there, and if it was, it wasnt very strong. Although it kept me interested and entertained, no more, no less.
