(es) wrote: Incemption is a film made in 2010, directed by Christopher Nolan. The movie is a science-fiction thriller starring Leonardo DiCaprio as the main character (Cobb), Joseph Gordon-Levitt as his best friend (Arthur), Ellen Page as Cobb's apprentice (Ariane) and Marion Cotillar as Cobb's ex-wife. The movie takes place in France, Australia, Canada and the United-States. The movie is in our modern day era.At the beginning of the film, we learn that Cobb makes a living as being a dream thief. Cobb steals dream information of powerful businessmen. He enters into a subconscious reality of others where he does dream stealing called "extraction" (by taking information from others' thoughts through their subconscious dream state). In the confusion of the film's drama, Cobb is accused of killing his wife, this accusation loses him custody of his children.Later in the movie, Cobb starts working for Saito, (a former victim of one of Cobb's 'dream state' organized robberies). Saito is CEO of an International energy company. Saito wants Cobb to implant an idea in the future CEO of a rival company in order for the firm to go bankrupt. In exchange for this act, Saito vows to pay off Cobb's murder sentence, allowing him to take custody of his children.Cobb starts doing dream implanting called "inception" (by making his subject fall into a dream state, in order to manipulate his decisions). After the thought implanted, his subject believes he has a brilliant idea for his firm but in reality, it makes his company fail. We will follow him through his journey. The movie really takes the time explaining every aspect of dream "extraction" and "inception". The music composed by the well-known author Hans Zimmer keeps us focused during the whole movie. The music is used in key moments to intensify the emotions. The frame shots are incredible with impressive CGI effects. The movie passes an important message about letting go of the past. The movie is also very action packed and has a deep story to tell. It's a movie with a good cast, resulting in good actor performances. The only bad point is the length of the movie which could be considered too long by some. I really liked the movie, I think it was worth watching. It's a movie that will keep you thinking long after it's over.

When I do die and if I was to be sent to hell, I'm pretty sure I shall be strapped to a chair and forced to watch this film over and over for eternity. This is the anti Christ of the film world.I've never self harmed but found myself coming close when Pierce Brosnan started singing in this. Let's be honest the whole premise of this so called film is that basically the Meryl Streep character is a slut who doesn't know who her daughters dad is! Of all my regrets and mistakes in life, if I could erase one thing permanently from my memory it would be this demonic garbage!!!
(au) wrote: I have never seen the allure of Ray Romano and this film didn't change that opinion, but fortunately for him the rest of the cast are awesome actors on their own and as an ensemble, worked really well together, inspite of Romano. The story is unrealistic and silly but I think this was suppose to be a comedy; more surprising was I didn't completely hate it either, mostly because Gene Hackman is always so adorable and charming that he makes (almost) anything credible no matter how seemingly ridiclous. Chistine Baranski was devilishly cool and Macia Gay Harden never disappoints, she's always consistently good.

(ca) wrote: i guess this film can be excused of the idea that is it is a heap of trash because i enjoyed it a bit, and kids will laugh at the quirky situation that cruella de vil gets herself into at the end (she is turned into a cake!). Glenn Close is hilarious like in the first, but i really didnt enjoy much about this sequel. ioan gruffard and the lady weren't top-notch actors. and some of the dialogue, jokes, accents and casting was shameful. although we can forgive the accents. possibly.
(kr) wrote: it was ok, a couple moments that make you jump, there was also some funny moments which caught me by surprise and got me laughing, all in all the concept is very good for a horror movie and robert englund only brings up movies in my book, it only needed some better effects and it would of been a great horror classic

(de) wrote: A nice, unassuming detective story where the course of the investigation is slightly meshed up with the racism issues. A cool-headed black homicide expert (Sidney Poitier) gets arrested in one of the Southern states for alleged murder (but, as it turns out, basically, for being black) and is kept in the police precinct until he shows his badge. As he informs his superior that he is apparently late, the latter suggests that Sidney stays on in the city to help local police investigate the crime. And so he does regardless of the chilly welcome he receives there. After proving the innocence of three erroneously jailed people and finding the real killer among the least suspected, he gains respect and appreciation of the sheriff who, in the beginning of the film hardly took him for a human being.
