The Accidental Spy torrent reviews

Emily C (de) wrote: This documentary about the hacktivist group Anonymous is one-sided, with the interviewees being almost overwhelmingly members of Anonymous or related groups, with only one voice from someone affected by their actions, but it's absorbing none-the-less. I found the first half most interesting, with the history of how Anonymous grew from the anarchic 4Chan forum, the breeding ground for thousands of amusing cat memes and revolting viral photos. As an active member of forums myself in the past, I found the process by which something so impersonal grows into a community, and then a real-world group, familiar and fascinating. The details of how Anonymous members went from baiting Scientologists to attacking government and media websites are slightly chilling - the fine line between defence of civil liberties, and uncontrolled vigilantism has clearly already been crossed, and will inevitably be again.

Laura B (br) wrote: Mamma Mia! is not a good musical nor a very interesting or engaging film. I would not define it a total disaster but not even something to spend your time on. It might be a good tv film to have on in the background while doing something else.

Knut F (ca) wrote: "Official selection Tribeca film festival", They stupid nerds must have been on weed or lsd or maybe worse. This get "Most boring movie off the whole fucking century" award from me.

Darrin C (kr) wrote: This one is also good and feels more like the late 60s as intended. Kudos to getting the same actors and locations for reprises. It also tightly stayed true as a firm prequel.

Chris D (us) wrote: Its sterile ultramodern backdrop and dialect are original but the characters are soullessly flat.

jen k (ag) wrote: Yeah, this movie doesn't blend with the others because the people never knew about them, so I really didn't get that

anders k (it) wrote: I loved it as a kid and played a big role in the cinematic growth of my experience

Dave A (au) wrote: very good acting. Both girls play the parts well

Brad S (ag) wrote: I missed this one as a kid, I was never a big Chuck Norris fan so sentimentality didn't cloud my judgement on it, the film just isn't great. It does have a decent director in Andrew Davis who did "Under Siege" and "The Fugitive". It also has Dennis Farina who I love, and a small role for the toothpick guy from "Uncle Buck" who also has a toothpick here, so I got a kick out of them. The script is just standard fare, and Norris' acting is very wooden, worst of all the 80's action stars in my opinion. This one is for super Norris fans only.

Douglas H (ca) wrote: Robert Blake's phenomenal performance is still something to behold. He plays "Big John", a 5 ' 4" motorcycle cop whose naive and honest nature sends him on a fateful path. It is a complex, smart turn that should have gotten an Oscar nomination. The film also offers up a strong soundtrack and it's tragic ending is easily the best of it's type (being on the road was a dangerous place in the early 60's to mid 70's).

Michael T (us) wrote: Top-notch cast in a gritty, realistic Korean War film.

ScubaSteve Walter M (ag) wrote: A provocative tale of deceit and obsession and did I mention HOT?

Matthew S (es) wrote: Movies seldom manage to this entertaining and poetic at the same time. Payne's Sideways is full of magical surprises.
