Cooper H (ag) wrote: DiCaprio eats up the scenery, but can barely be seen thanks to terrible lighting throughout the film. It does a good job at telling Hoover's story well and is especially captivating near the end, despite some rough makeup.
Bri L (jp) wrote: The first 40 minutes of this were just terrible and the rest of it wasnt that good either. Apart from some great non-cgi creature effects it is a very forgettable low budget horror comedy.
Remi L (it) wrote: Surprisingly decent. I was gung-ho to see this film because I know so little about Afro-Latin culture, so to see it get its shine in American film was a treat

Damien D (kr) wrote: Total non-sense. This is not a sci-fi movie, but rather a supernatural movie. The end is obvious and you boringly wait for it for half of the movie. Many huge inconsistencies. Lost my time.
Timothy A (mx) wrote: Top notch creature thriller from the dawn of CGI ? when top notch directors were still getting it right. It resorts to clich with fair regularity, but even today the rest is fresh enough to be forgiven. Stands as a reminder that no matter how far a franchise property descends, it probably started somewhere worth revisiting.
