Emma Fuhrmann, Nicolette Pierini y por supuesto Morgan Freeman destacan por sus actuaciones.

Ferrell is a congressman who has won his seat without contest for years until the large corporations bring in Galifianakis to replace him and to do their bidding. Director Jay Roach, who has delivered blockbusters like Meet The Fockers and Austin Powers, isn't bringing us something original as one is able to deduce where The Campaign is heading. That said, with two stars at the top of their game, the jokes come fast and thick! Audiences will forgive the predictability as they chuckle along wholeheartedly and walk away more than satisfied as Ferrell and Galifianakis deliver brilliantly. The Campaign is one to enjoy.

Ben N (br) wrote: Despite the film's premise, it is really not about chess so much as the relationship between a father and son and how expectations and success affect them both. This film will surprise you with well-written and believable dialogue alongside distinct and well-developed characters. The chess theme will not overwhelm those who do not understand the game, but there is plenty enough there to establish the plot. Max Pomeranc is peerless among child actors as Josh Waitzkin and Joe Mantinga plays a father that genuinely seems to care on screen. The supporting roles of Josh's teachers are a perfect contrast of Ben Kingsley's sophisticated and straight-edged style with Lawrence Fishburne's comic and laid back approach to chess which keeps the film interesting as Josh drifts between teachers. Truly a must-see.
