Andrew K (us) wrote: There's certainly potential for a great video game documentary, but as far as this one is concerned, it's mostly a pass. Props for included footage from Spec Ops the Line though.

Simon P (us) wrote: Slick and very well acted dramatisation of those four days in November.

Tim D (us) wrote: It was great, after getting to know these characters for two seasons, to pop back in on them four years later. It was especially good to see how Reggie had grown up. This film had a plot point (that I won't spoil) that I had been waiting for the entire series and I was glad that it did. Rube isn't in it, which is tragic, but he was believably written out of the story and it made for a good plot. If only the writers had written Daisy out too, because Sarah Wynter didn't do a good job replacing Laura Harris. While the series didn't have a strong ending (a good one, but not much closure), this one had a good one. It's clear what's next for this group of reapers.

Stephen E (br) wrote: Thomas Jane has not been good in any film that I've ever seen him in, and I've seen quite a few. "Stander" proved me wrong; not only it the best performance of his career, but it's just an all-around great performance. He provides us with a sturdy and well-developed character. On top of that, "Stander" is engaging, exciting, involving, and unquestionably well-made. It's been a long time since I've watched a movie where I haven't checked the clock once at least once and with "Stander", I wasn't bored a single time. Now, there a couple of instances where it gets a little silly, but overall, "Stander" is a great film. Highly recommended.

Jacob J (de) wrote: Rocky V is a really disappointing part of the film series and I think Sylvester Stallone didn't really give out the heart of the character like he did with the last four films.

Dean M (fr) wrote: Great non-stop action with two peformances Chow Yun-Fat and Alan Tong combine with Joe Cheung's skillful direction to deliver a powerful but tragic gangland thriller with the brutal realism of Scarface.

Amanda H (es) wrote: Usually if I see Owen Wilson on the cover of something, I pass on it by default. Stupid slapstick comedy is one of my least favorite movie genres and that's really all he ever does, so normally I just write off everything he's in. I did the same with this one, but I watched it out of boredom and was fairly pleasantly surprised. There's nothing really standout about it, but it's funnier than I expected it to be. If you're in the mood for something mindless but also relatively funny, this is a pretty good bet.
