Reed V (it) wrote: Indecisive, noncommittal direction creates two movies in one, resulting in nothing more than a bombastic shoot-em-up that will undoubtably suffice some.

Wes H (ag) wrote: Ok, so. 1) this is a foreign film (Sweden I believe), so it is different. 2) It is great and about someone that I as a history major with a deep knowledge of WWII was mostly unfamiliar. 3) Did I mention it was Great!?! 4) One of the only movies to capture the breakdown of reality perfectly in insane situations. You'll Know what I mean.

Dave J (de) wrote: Tuesday, September 28, 2010 (1970) Chisum WESTERN John Wayne acting usually as himeslf again coinciding with Billy The Kid and Pat Garret as well as many others! With the existing problem with this film is the total predictability of knowing when the audience know when some undeserving good guy was going to get killed because of corruption amongst the sheriffs etc.. I ended up fast- forwarding most of the third and fourth acts than I did on the first 40 minutes while watching this film! Predictability at it's worst! 2 out of 4

Mac J (fr) wrote: Hands down my favorite South American film. It's #19 on my list of favorite films. It has beautiful animation, and it's blended perfectly with live action to boot, which was the first Disney film to feature some of that. In a way, it's an extension of "Fantasia" because of the artwork, music, and the multiple segment thing. It's way, WAY, WWWAAAYYY better than "Saludos Amigos". Definitely check it out, it's worth your time.
