Zach M (it) wrote: Another stellar entry in the DC animated film franchise. This film focuses on Damian Wayne, son of Bruce Wayne/Batman, becoming the new Robin and the way he wants to deal with bad guys differently from Batman. The League Of Assassins and Deathstroke play a large role in this film which is nice. The animation, which is fairly similar to Japanese anime, works really well for this film and its story.
Richard D (ag) wrote: Affleck seems to have really got better over the last few years. He's certainly cast here because he exudes a kind of hollow charm that this role requires, but he's also lost his cockily annoying toxic screen presence. I really like this film. It's an implausible, nakedly commercial twisty thriller, but it has beautifully nihilistic satiric sting to it.

Fog I (br) wrote: Well the movie is a 1 hour and 40min , which 30 min is the plot and 50 min of boredom , 20 min to end the movie. The movie sacrifice everything for suspense. -Spoilers- The movie sacrifice everything for suspense, it's try to force a mind game which try to make you focus on Turk to be the killer which makes the movie incrideble boring , also Just remember the main characters are Turk and Rooster, I mean what the fuck ? Yeah even they a have that kind of name in the entire movie to have more of the ''mind game''.But there is a great thing which is the suspense which makes the movie be horrible, however it's makes the history at least interesting after the 50min of boredom. However the history is interesting, even having that bad development.
Enrique O (es) wrote: Es entretenida pero sobrecargada de efectos visuales y colores, hasta el punto de una autntica jaqueca. y la historia se ve incoherente gracias a la edicin y la sobrecarga de CGI.
Ryan L (br) wrote: I found this movie to be incredibly dull, and a huge disappointment since I absolutely loved Atanarjuat: The Fast Runner. The pacing is too slow, and it really doesn't feel like anything happens throughout the course of the film. It also lacked a strong central character as I didn't feel particularly connected or engaged by anyone in the movie. The one good thing I can say is that it is beautifully shot, but that's about it. I wish this movie was so much better, but for me, it just wasn't.
Reno V (jp) wrote: WHO SAYS REVENGE TASTES SWEET? - The 1999 film adaptation of what is assumed to be Shakespeare's first tragedy 'Titus Andronicus' (written between 1588 and 1593). I write 'assumed', because there has been a lot of discussion about who wrote it for this story is bloodier and crueler than Shakespeare's other masterpieces. Set in the Ancient Rome, director Julie Taymor used old (chariots, swords) with modern elements (cars, guns) to express the timelessness of this story. The use of this mixture along with the original dialogue could be a bit bizarre for some viewers, but for me it totally works. 'Titus' is all about the storyline that deals with family, revenge, rape and murder. I confess that I like it better than 'Romeo and Juliet' and 'Hamlet'. The cruel faith of Lavinia and the epic conclusion haunted me for days. Even now that I've seen the movie more than once, it still brings chills to my spine. Brilliant performances by Anthony Hopkins as 'Titus Andronicus' and Jessica Lange as 'Queen Tamora'. After losing 21 of his 25 sons in the battle against the Goths Roman general Titus Andronicus (Hopkins) returns victoriously to Rome with hostages: the Goth Queen Tamora (Lange), her three sons and the Moor Aaron (her secret lover). Despite the pleas of Tamora Ttius sacrifices her oldest son, Alarbus, to avenge the loss of his own children during the war. Wrecked by it all, Tamora vows revenge on Titus and his family. Shortly after that the Emperor of Rome passes away. While the princes Saturninus and Bassianus quarrel to claim the throne, it is tribune Marcus Andronicus who announces that the people want his brother Titus to be the new ruler. But the Roman general refuses and supports the eldest son Saturninus, who is eventually elected Emperor. As a present Titus gives him his war trophies (Tamora and her family). Saturninus tells Titus that for his first act as Emperor, he will marry Titus's daughter Lavinia. The general agrees, although Lavinia is in love with Bassianus, who refuses to give her up. Together with Titus' four remaining sons, they make a run for it. Feeling dishonored by his own children Titus follows them and kills his son Mitius. Although Saturninus is displeased, he pardons them all and chooses a new bride: Tamora! During the royal hunt party new Empress Tamora, her lover Aaron and her two sons put things into motion to get their revenge. There will be blood...

Duncan P (au) wrote: Provides an interesting analysis of the phenomenon using a broad variety of different fans to try to come to an understanding of it. Probably the best tool out there to use as a way to explain the normality of the fans of the show to others who can't quite understand why grown men participate in fandom revolving around a show that is so far out of the social norms that it scares people. The portrayal isn't as badly handled as it has been previously by various media, but it's also not quite accurate for everyone. Maybe I'm simply a hell of a lot tamer than most of them, but I didn't see anyone who would be considered a moderate - someone who simply watches it and enjoys it, and doesn't feel a need to force it on everyone around them, but just shares in it as a small, private social activity with friends instead of the world at large, and can certainly function in the world without throwing ponies into absolutely everything. But then again, I suppose the most vibrant fans are the ones that everyone sees, so it's them that need to be shown as normal. It's also not the most objective thing I've ever seen, rather shying away from the fact that some fans are... well, bloody awful (but show me a fandom without those kinds), but at least it manages to show that bronies are, by and large, despite what people might think, normal. I'll also give them credit for showing that some are a bit creepy, and others are really cringe-inducing (I'm looking at you, SoCal bronies). So, ultimately, anyone should take from this film that they're really just like any other fandom, the object of their affection is just somewhat unprecedented.
