Zach C (ca) wrote: I remember liking the first of that series a lot, but was a long while ago and didn't know there were more till now. This one starts strong, but doesn't sustain the laughs.

Lewis M (de) wrote: It was a decent film when it wasn't trying to be Beverley Hills Cop (if a little overdone).

Rotimer J (it) wrote: Initially fascinating but let down by a sprawling, unfocused third act.

Ken S (ca) wrote: After directing the TV film "Duel" Spielberg made his move to the big screen, making his theatrical feature film debut with this quirky film based on the true story of Lou Jean Poplin, who after getting out of jail fellow convict husband out of pre-release jail and kidnaps a state trooper in Texas in order to get to Sugarland and get her son back, who has been taken away by the state. It is a good film, it shows that Spielberg quality, which is evident pretty early on. Hawn is really good, and the supporting cast is solid as well. I would definitely recommend checking this film out.

Cooper H (ru) wrote: The only incredible thing about this movie is how little I laughed throughout. Boring, dumb, and definitely not funny.

Eric H (nl) wrote: I have no idea how some people think this film is better than the second one. In fact this feels like a worse version compared to the first one. Rambo feels like some supernatural character in this, instead of being human. Yeah sure the first two was a bit of a stretch, but it's passable. In this one, Rocky is basically a one man army, almost untouchable since no bullets can touch him. Yeah this is the most fit Sylvester Stallone has ever been and even admitted in a interview, that he was in the best physical shape of his career in this. Which is good for him, but everything in this seemed to drag and the annoying kid character doesn't add to the film at all, but just annoying. He doesn't seem like a character that is torn up cause of the wars he been through anymore, but a clich hero that is untouchable. The whole thing is basically a rescue mission for Rambo to save an old friend and some others if need be. Most of the first part of this film is just boring and the plot isn't engaging at all and I just wanted it to get to the action scenes as quick as possible. Nothing about the beginning parts of Rambo's new life and how he gets dragged back into wielding guns and arrows was interesting. Yeah Rambo has corny one liners once again that is silly and yet memorable, but that is all that stands out for Rambo in this one. This isn't a bad action movie, but nothing special either. The way Rambo uses stealth to his advantage like in the other Rambo movies was cool to watch though. The worst in the series though and the beginning part of the film was tedious to watch!
