(gb) wrote: great story, but I wanna know what happened to the child molester and the child beater.

(ag) wrote: For those who love really cheap n crazy films. This was the cheapest looking film I've ever (partially) seen. Didn't quite make the 'so bad, it's good' category for me, it's actually 'so bad, it's bloody awful'
(us) wrote: Quite possibly one of the scariest films I have ever seen.
(ag) wrote: Not quite the standard affair story given it explores the desperation to stay together despite being financially cut off by the more powerful hurt party. The greatest achievement is its emphasis on realism.

(au) wrote: I remember really enjoying this. The scenery, the action and suspense.
(ca) wrote: This is more like a comedy than an action. Shelley Winters cracked me up as 'Mummy' the drug lord. Not as B grade like a lot of blaxploitation movies. Likeable!
(br) wrote: The filmmakers apparently thought it would be a Bulldog Drummond story into a James Bond wannabe movie. The cast is bland, the story rather preposterous but it is a good looking movie, professionally made with good cinematography and costumes.
(gb) wrote: A film that looks at what goes on behind the stage, the editing was amazing, that represented the era well. The songs were catchy and well written, the dialogues were amazing written too. Bebe Daniels was amazingly beautiful. The specially arranged choreography was a highlight. It has a well blended themes of romantic comedy and musical, loved it!!
(es) wrote: I picked up an ex rental for $2, and I think I still paid too much. I usually don't mind Heather Graham's rom coms, even the silly ones, but this was just crappy. Wtf with her getting drunk in the car and then taking off all her clothes. It was like watching a special needs person. Also, the sound on the dvd is atrocious. The music is much louder than the speaking, so I had a choice between keeping the volume low and not being able to hear all that was said, and keeping it high and having music blast out loudly - as in, neighbours will complain, loudly. I lasted 40 minutes. Just long enough got Minnie Driver to show up. It's a pity she and Colin didn't just go home at this point and end the movie.
