(it) wrote: This movie is riveting from start to finish. I loved it! I thought the title was strange but boy, what a ride of suspense. Crawford is fantastic and Palance makes the perfect villain.

(jp) wrote: Okay, so I got kinda rooked into this with a group of family, but it was somewhat entertaining, i that the earnestness and cornball pathos of it are kinda funny and the women look amazing, so it's a perfectly harmless way to kill an hour and a half.Rental? Maybe?
(au) wrote: So this was one of two meteorites are going to strike the earth movies that came out in the summer of 1998. This was the one not directed by Michael Bay, and yet is still the weaker movie. The biggest problem above all, and there's a lot form bad acting to boring characters, is the plot. It's so generic that with a simple re-write this could have been any kind of disaster movie. From a giant volcano, to a massive earthquake, Hell even Godzilla could have rose out of the sea and it wouldn't have been too far off. Nothing in it screams, "This is our story!" At least at least Michael Bay's film could, and when you lose a filmmaking contest with Michael Bay, you've lost more than just a contest let me tell you.
(ru) wrote: It was okay!!! I didn't like the fact, how other people were not friendly to new comers. Some were alright, no problem but some were hostile.
(ag) wrote: The film requires the suspension of disbelief at times, especially as the film barrels towards its climax, but it remains entertaining and intense. A superb cast elevates this film a notch above popcorn fare. Still, issues with continuity riddle the plot with holes.
(fr) wrote: This fourth installment of the Resident Evil franchise was very good actually. I love how they are telling the story and keeping Milla Jovovich in every film. I like every effect that this movie show and the action was great, at first I wasn't convinced, but after watching it a few more times I realize this was a good movie. As that being said for this being one good fourth installment and for meeting my expectations I give " Resident Evil: Afterlife " a B-.
