(ca) wrote: This is one legitimately funny movie. I feel like a lot of spoof movies uplately started getting terrible reputation because of the bad quality of a bunch of them, so when a good one comes out, people are "too cool" to admit they actually like them. Not all of the jokes are good, but I'd say it's worth watching

(it) wrote: Steven Spielberg is a genius among geniuses. Saving Private Ryan is the greatest war movie of all time, its 27 min long opening is probably he most intense sequence I've ever seen. Realism, fear, violence, pain, gore, everything war has ever been is transcripted in what is an example of perfect direction.

Michel Simon is perfect as Boudu, with some great moments throughotu, I especially liked when he was going to get his haircut, but first had to shine is shoes. The actual drowning sequence was also well filmed. Also a memorable ending.
